You hear SOMEONE's voice within your mind say, "Ha! I like your
initiative, student. The answers you seek. That
is all I will say and will deny having told you."
Much to the Divine

Subj: Prophecies Discovered
Greetings Celestians,
Recently, various prophecies have been uncovered relating to our
situation. They appear to have come from the Verses of Magnora,
referenced in the Book of Tauro. Each has an old Celestian date number
attached.
"The end begins when reality shudders,
As descendents of our escape falter,
The sundering of reality is stayed,
By anchors made by dying brothers."
962
"Forgotten hunger eats its bonds,
gorged on bleakness, awakened strong,
world spine cracked in twain,
death comes from waters of despair."
966
"First to fall is the City of Prophets, beneath their dark stone
Then the forest under the Silver Moon shall die in fire."
Followed by life snuffed out by those under the Bright Star."
"Last to be defeated are those hidden in the dark forest's shadow."
967
Let us hope the last does not come to pass.

Riiight.

Celest was the one that found the pertinent one pertaining to the future. The Wilde kept trying to keep Marani killed, and if they had their way we'd have never have gotten that verse. Alianna did put her up though, and without her disobeying orders... well. And I believe a magnagoran found one of them.
Furien2006-12-21 17:12:59
I'm kidding!
I'm just annoyed that Marani's ego bonus HIT MY REFLECTION.

Actually... I think you'd find you're mistaken in assuming that Celest was the only one who found that (or even the first). Keep in mind that the parchments do reset.

Knowing how easily any information posted OOCly here will simply reappear ICly, I sincerely hope no Magnagoran will post our progress.

Naught but hope can stave this day
Buried beneath the golden sand.
Fates averted, the hunger unappeased
He of golden hair is finally freed

Time to change the roadsigns, again.

The end of this event makes the abolishment of runes as a mage skill (leave it for druids) and we get a new, OP skillset

You don't taste good enough
Mag is getting eaten first - clearly they taste best. It's why Morgfyre make it his base of operations
Mmm, taintalicious!

Theologians are investigating the theory that the Soulless are actually extraplanar, neurotic terriers.

That made me
I found one of the verses the other day and asked around, but no one seemed interested. Thought it was just a quest item or something... And every time I log in it's so quiet so I get bored and log off, and then all this crazy stuff happens Argh!

Ew, him again?
It could be Lyreth coming back out of inactivity (he never DID show up any of the recent events, after all, and as far as I know, there's no yet given or known reason for his absence).
Though I suppose this could also mean we're about to end up with Hajareth, which could have some hilarious results.
Furien2006-12-21 18:37:56
Morgfyre got travel sickness in the Void and threw Hajamin back up?
