You know..."All I got" doesn't necessarily refer to ungratefulness. I'll go out on a limb here and say that it -could- be used as a way of saying "I found one gnome, and this particular gnome held..." I'm terribly appreciative that there were gnomes this year and I even happened to stumble upon one.

Could be, but I don't think so. People are yelling that so-and-so got an expensive artifact, while all they got was a hundred thousand sovereigns' worth of poisons and potions and so on...it's like the awesome free stuff they got is worth nothing just because someone else happened to get even more awesome free stuff.

I love the concept of the gnomes, but I don't think people in general are mature enough to handle such expensive prizes. It seems to foster greed and jealousy more than anything else - I'd love to see the gnomes next year carry maybe 15k tops.

I remember when the gnomes first appeared on Christmas. Or was it thanksgiving? It was when the game had first opened. I remember running through the highway and came across one. When I poked it, it flicked a booger at me. Estarra for originality. No game beats Lusternia.
