Keep talking.. wisdom .. balance... You might just get Accailia to get up there and fight for you!
Wish others would share their plans too, as I said on the other thread.
Hmm. I actually started writing about this, but it was going to end up being rather lengthy and it's more than likely going to end up being completely irrelevant anyway. How's this, I'll expound on my ideas more if it actually becomes relevant because I win a Seal!
Edit: By the way, thank you for the indication of support. It may not end up meaning anything, but it's appreciated anyway!

I've always had Daganev's view of how he would be a god, but its not things I would want to reveal.
However, I just realized that most of the contests are on saturdays, not good days for me to be involved in. Oh well.
Daganev's symbol however would be a plain faced cube, possibly floating on a nimbus. And he would look like a big ol godly tae'dae.

Too many gods already have the teaching that says their followers should seek to better themselves and achieve excellence in whatever goals they choose. I don't see that as being anything special. Certainly not for a god's specific teachings. I'd rather see teachings you can't get off of a motivational poster.

Agreed. I think teachings need concrete goals and obvious signs of success.

This is a rather interesting exercise to attempt, even just for the sake of theory!
Elryn as an Ascended God would choose to title Himself 'Elryn, the Efflorescent', to reference both His ascendancy and His realm of interest (and His prettiness, obviously!). He would likely distance himself from the Serenwilde for its cultural decline and instead take his reverence of the natural world to an entirely new level.
His newly awakened divine sight would cause him to view his fellow mortals as pretty decorations that exist merely to enhance and contrast with the true inheritors of the world - the plant kingdom and mineral environment in which they thrive. (Muahaha) To this end, he would view the conflicts of the four organizations with amusement and for mostly their entertainment value, although he would be partial to both Glomdoring and Serenwilde for their willing integration into and respect for their environment.
I don't think he would take mortal followers, instead inviting the trees, forests and fae to join with him in celebration of the beauty and majesty of the natural world they share. If he did admit mortals (but I'm assuming this would be discouraged if not impossible), they would be made aware of their position, and their responsibility would be merely to offset the arrogance and harm of the sentient remainder. In person he would act mostly like a deranged hippy, treating inanimate objects with great respect and attention, while mortals would be treated with light-hearted playfulness yet underlying it all a condescending dismissal.
That would be so much fun.

IF you get into the nine finalist, I'm so going to try to stop you from even getting close to the staff, no matter who has it

Oh, and I think Elryn the Efflorescent would consider literary works the only notable achievement of mortalkind, because we don't really value that enough. Anyone who isn't working on a scholarly masterpiece however, and steps into the wrong grove, would be fair game for entertaining torture and perhaps inevitably slaughter.

If Nerra ever ascended it would be a lot of "Sit down, shut up, and do what your elders tell you to!"
Unknown2006-12-26 16:17:53
I doubt many of these ideas that don't benefit 'the people' would ever be supported, so you'd have to be one hell of a combatant to actually keep the staff.

You could be Daga'Dae, The Lone Grizzly, or something probably better than that.
Gwylifar2006-12-26 16:20:08
Gwylifar would likely focus on expanding the racial roleplay in the realm, and not only for aslaran, though that might come first. As all his ties to friends and familiy are long since severed, and even his affiliations to other organizations have faded, this wouldn't be any kind of stretch.
His order would be focused on the principles of accepting what makes you alike with your kin, and different from others, and in doing so, find your own place in your tribe and how it defines and strengthens you. This wouldn't necessarily be geared towards being more or less friendly with the other races, though it might clarify and even adjust your feelings about other races somewhat when you more closely examine what they are and why you have them.
I would run events and activities designed to help members of races find some kind of consensus about what distinguishes them from other races, what unifies them. I'd try to further encourage the idea that race is as important a defining trait in your identity as anything else, which some people already practice, but not all.

I would so love the chance to expand the Dreaming aspect of Lusternia... Draw people into vivid, interactive dreams of the past and future, have the spirits of the Dead Who Dream walk the land, trying to have their tales heard, their unfulfilled wishes realized...
