There's no one right answer. It depends on your personal playing preferences. There are benefits and disadvantages to each, so it's up to you to decide what is more important to you and go with whichever race gives you the best overall package for you.

Aslaran is the best race for a Tarot-user, in my opinion.

If you judge races by their usefulness in bashing, something is wrong. Two primary reasons:

1. Unless you plan to take on the most hardcore creatures (solo a pyrinne?), or spend all your time on Astral bashing for demigod/titan, hunting isn't an issue. EVERY race is good for PvE, because PvE is EASY. Do I have to mention, yet again, that I was an unspecced Faeling and I was able to solo monstrosities or how do you call these horribly overpowered creatures that were all over the Basin at one point of the game?

2. Celestines have the weakest bashing potential from all the guilds.

Bro, I'm telling you, Furrikin!!! Roll FTW, it's actually better than tumble now if I recall.

No, it's the same as tumble. They're just smaller so it looks better than tumble from a human's size or whatever.

Roll is good if you can't afford the creds for tumble though.

I think you should go mugwump. As you've told me in the game and here, you won't buy a lot of ooc credits, and getting a whole bunch of IC credits is relatively hard and slow. So, you'll want to focus mainly on Celestialism-make sure to trans it. That'll get you all the investments you need plus absolve.

Without good Celestialism, and Sacraments, soulless is that much harder-so I really wouldn't worry about tarot too much. Focus on Celestialism.

I think that'll be the cheapest, best, easiest way for you.

Who are we giving advice to right now? Aison or Jack?
Aison2007-02-03 19:20:21
Jack is dead.

Celestines are really tough to use if you can't tritrans or at least dual trans.
Malarious2007-02-03 20:56:54
Go Nihilist, take tarot, trans Nihilism take up tarot to aeon/enigma.. and I will teach you this thing called wrack.

Aslarans rock, though yes its largely for tarot.
Aison2007-02-04 03:21:35
Aison? Go Nihilist? I can't see that in her future any time soon.

I can get to tri- trans. It will just take a lot of hard work.

I don't know if anyone has said this, but you should go furrikin, Celestian's don't need any strength, skill, or speed. All they need is to time inqui, which takes what.. Luck and some timing? So, go dwarf, and show us how little Celestians actually need.

It's like tumble but much faster, like our somersault in Acrobatics (in fact, both are just the same.)

Er.. no it isn't. Roll only seems better than tumble due to small furrikin size to begin with.
Shryke2007-02-05 06:34:36
I know all that, but I thought it didn't take 500 endurance like tumble does.

EDIT:WP to endurance
ferlas2007-02-05 14:10:06
It does, roll and tumble are exactly the same cost speed etc etc.
