The lists at the beginning of this thread have been updated to include the February 2007 bardic and artisanal results.
Congratulations to:
Congratulations to:
- Catarin, for being promoted to Laureate rank and assuming the overall lead in the history of Lusternian bardics!
- Valarien and Rhosyn, for being inducted to the bardic ranks as Storytellers!
- Balizar and Ryannic, for being promoted to Engraver rank as artisanals! (extra smiles to Ryannic who was left off the list last month)
- Reiha and Incabulos, for being inducted to the artisanal ranks as Sketchers!
- Folken for increasing his record for the most artisanal points without winning one outright! Don't feel bad, your time will come ... meanwhile enjoy your 1950th artisanal-prize credit....

Heh. I hope to make this a very big record.
I don't even really want to win, I like doing lots of little bits of art and not pouring my soul into something only to have it fail miserably... like my two self portraits, which are two of my favorite/most time spent pieces.
Besides, it keeps me going from month to month. Speaking of which, I've been around for a long time...

The lists at the beginning of this thread have been updated to include the March 2007 bardic and artisanal results.
Congratulations to:
Congratulations to:
- Exeryte, for being promoted to Minstrel rank in the bardics (passing my lazy tail in the process) and, even sweeter, getting a personal endorsement of the winning work from Estarra!
- Callus and Lowe, for being promoted to Troubadour rank in the bardics (running neck and neck)!
- Feyrll, for being promoted to the lofty Artisanal Master rank as an artisan! Only one more rank to go....
- Ryannic, for being promoted (for the second month in a row) to Illustrator rank as an artisan!
- Felandi, for being promoted to Engraver rank as an artisan!
- All but two of the entrants, who avoided being morons and getting shrubbed!

You have far too much time on your hands! Now go write the third installment of your play!
That being said, it's nice to see my name up there when it wasn't on the first list a year ago.

I really don't! I started on this and thought I could do it quickly and it ended up taking most of an hour I can't spare, but by the time I realized how long it would take, I was halfway through it, and you know how it goes.
The next play will be a while -- too close together doesn't work. I need to do something else in between.

How did you get this? Did you go through the site adding up everybody's wins?
And... Lowe is a Maestro according to honours. I randomly honours'd him to check if your list was accurate and apparently it's not heh. Or maybe Lusty screwed up.

Went through the site adding up points, yeah. I actually captured the web page source code, copied out the relevant bits, did a lot of search-and-replace, and pasted it into a spreadsheet for totalling and sorting. If I search on Lowe's name, I still only get 12 points (try it yourself) so maybe he's got points that didn't make it onto the website somehow? I seem to recall him having some of his wins not show up on the web back when he was a Spiritsinger, in fact.
Kaileigh2008-03-21 23:20:28
I actually have a file of how many times I won and how much myself.. although I must have missed some I only have 5000 credits listed. And there are none left. So no mooching
Unknown2008-03-22 03:03:41
Thanks, Lendren. Thought y'all forgot about me.

Thanks a lot. Not to sound mean, though, but 15 points is only Minstrel rank, not Maestro!
Lendren2008-04-16 15:29:44
Ooops! Fixed. I had it wrong in the previous listing too and no one noticed.

Hey, I jumped a rank too! Where're my congratulations?
And in partially-relevant question-oriented news, is it possible to submit bardics on multiple characters? And by this I mean, could I submit one bardic on Jack and a seperate one on Iblis in the same month?
And by "possible" I mean "allowed sans shrubbery"?

I wonder why Laureate isn't the highest rank.

I've asked this question before and was told that one person can submit for multiple characters, because the art and writing are supposed to be from the character's POV.
Jack2008-04-17 18:08:37
See, I always thought it was more OOC. I've prefaced one or two bardics with introductions from my characters perspectives, but since you're allowed to transfer credits won from bardics from character to character...

Not in the same month, I think. But you are allowed to submit one bardic and one artisinal, but you only get the credits of the higher ranked one. (Or something like that.)
