Magnagora is the underdog in this way, we actually worry about praying if we don't have conglut. Celestians never have to worry about that, since they can rezz any ghost in the basin. So when they die, all they have to do is wait for someone to rezz them.
And I have actually heard some Celestians who say they don't tell people they are trans in sacraments so they don't get hounded to rezz people all the time....
So we are the underdogs, come join us..... and we have ghost!! Also it is always fun to go kill a Celestian.
Oh and Clise, I am single minded in the fact that what the hell can you do in Glomdoring, I mean you have a clan envoy there who hasn't played Lusty in what, 2 months now? Still no clue why he hasn't been replaced. You have a goddess who can do it, so why wouldn't your commune guild want someone to speak for it. And what do you all do all day? I mean yeah I guess walkin round, gathering fae, chatting and sparring to prepare for conflict that never ever comes.... I guess that is fun and all.... but it doesn't seem like it is what Sintor is lookin for. -shrug-

Here's another thought... Is level 70 with 500 credits on a new char (bonus lessons included) enough to get a Mag/Celest class to to fighting capability?

I'd like to point out two things.
First, there is a actually a good reason why the Shadowdancers have no Envoy, but I thank you for your "concern." Don't worry Ildy, I'll take care of it.
Second, think what you like about Glom's "restrictions," but at least we can kill the idiots in our commune who call snuggling at the nexus their "roleplay." Not being able to kill the members of the city you currently have a treaty with isn't exactly "restrictive," but your bias comes through LOUD AND CLEAR.
That being said, if you're looking for more PK, Sintor, I also think Magnagora is the way to go. Personally, I'd like you to stick about Glomdoring, (though IC I'd like to see Sintor do more than stand at the Ravenwood, no wonder you're bored) but it does sound to me like Magnagora is more your IRE speed.

Liiiike? Most of the time I am talking to people about fighting or waiting for neurosis to wear off. I go with Hyrtakos and cone hundreds of power a day usually.

You really want a list of things Shayle would like to see Sintor doing? Talk to her IC then.
As I said, OOC, I still think Magnagora is more your speed. It seems like you are standing around waiting for things to happen, and I can't see where that is much fun for you at all.

Ildaudid - quit being so biased!
Lich is extremely powerful. I'd like it more than sacrifice, honestly. Most Sacraments users will agree.

I wish Seren could do that.
You wont find much fighting in the Serenwilde, I try with the Wargames and Freeforalls but -no one- cares. We dont raid often, and well, we've been restricted from pissing the Cities off for awhile. And plus, we're not allowed to kill snugglers so they kinda just grow to be more and more.
Daganev2006-12-31 19:53:05
Don't listen to shayle she doesn't the ebonguard fighters much... stay in glom

Yeah, Seren is full of boring snugglers. Nearly every interesting Seren I know quit the Serenwilde of quit Lusternia over the Serenwilde situation The worst part is that the snugglers are now in the majority, and don't even see the problem with all this. Gods, this game is boring.
Yeah, join Mag or Celest. Like people have told me a plethora of times, the cities actually DO things and are fun.
I wish I could leave Seren for somewhere less idioticlly dumb, like, say, ANYWHERE, but that would be running away instead of fixing things, which I can't get myself to do
Genevieve2007-01-01 10:12:01
Well you could start another war with Celest, Shorlen, like you almost did when you killed me :-P

Naw, there's no org for Seren to fight. Period. It isn't going to happen. That's one of the biggest design flaws of Lusternia - you can't just kinda attack another org, you have to go full out, and going full out against Mag won't happen for trade reasons, against Glom shouldn't happen for 10 to 1 population difference reasons, against Celest won't happen due to the horrendous influx of pro-Celest former Celestians and because we got our butts kicked last time due to noone actually fighting the damn war.
So, there's noone for us to fight.
We need smaller groupings that can fight one another, this is lame
Genevieve2007-01-01 10:27:06
You mean the ability for say guilds to battle without dragging the cities in?

Not even that, small groups, cults that are completely seperate from light/taint/wyrd/ancestors.

Not really. You should see what Shorlen's like in the Serenwilde lately

Personally, I'm finding Serenwilde lacking in the 'conflict' side myself. I'm constantly considering going to Magnagora and helping them vs. Celest, really, but I just can't bring myself to quit so easily. I would love to see Serenwilde take up arms against ANYWHERE, as long as I could get in to some action. All I'm honestly doing right now is bashing, trying to build a system, and trying to find a chance to fight somewhere. I wish Serenwilde would hold some Wargames, Freeforalls.. anything. It just is really irritating.
I came to Lusternia for, essentially, a break from my GM duties on Imperian - and I'm finding that the break is really really just me idling and bashing. :/

I do too hold them. No one is every friggen interested in them. If you want them TELL DYLARA can we have a freeforall/etc?
Is it so hard?! Yeesh, you all rant and rave how I never hold them but when I try no one ever friggen cares. So tell me, what is the bloody point? Hey, also. Yell at the Commune Leaders, guess what they're supposed to be doing. Mock raids. Are they doing it? NOOOOOOO!

Sorry if I worded that wrong - when I'm on, I never ever ever see them.
Adding to that, I'm relatively new to Lusternia (been playing a month and a halfish, I think?) and I'm still not sure how to talk to the commune. I was always rather quiet and out of the way in Imperian until I got involved in politics - I always prefer to be unobtrusive and just do my own thing with PK and bashing. Obviously, that's not how it works here.
I'd be glad to give you a reason to hold events now. Back when I had culture powers in Kinsarmar on Imperian, I used to hold them randomly and literally yell at people on CT to join or I'd come over and give them an out of arena spar.
