I used to get terrifically irritated with Geomancers who were part of those clans. It makes no RP sense to be a Geomancer when you really want to be a Pyro or Aero mancer. That tax strikes me as an extremely good idea.. I wonder why it was never promulgated.

Too much protest and too many people not paying the tax.

Rylan is getting there, and I think Nerra is going to be getting him into more and more trouble anyway. One of these days I guess he'll have no choice but to wind up on someone's enemy list.

I have to just not play for a day or two and get my system fully set up so I'm not so afraid of real combat. It's no fun when after one affliction I'm pretty much done for at the moment... Give me a week Pops, then we'll go get into some trouble.

I still don't have a curing system set up properly, and I go get into trouble anyway! On rare occasions, that is. Anyway, you need to be more like the rest of your family and start bragging about how many enemy statuses you have! biggrin.gif

Situation is pretty frustrating to me too. I want to kill half the snugglers, and I just can't do it, nor can I find a good IC reason to keep them out of the commune. :-/ The lack of conflict is rather annoying as well. Hell, I can only hunt so much before getting bored.

How bad is it? I've been thinking up an IC reason to leave the Serenwilde and go to Celest, so I can do something. tongue.gif

The problem is, the Serenwilde doesn't know -how- to raid, as the vast majority doesn't understand combat at all. It's really to the point where we are like Celest started out as. I'm sad. I've been trying to change this, starting in the Serenguard, but it's a slow, not too easy process. Especially when I keep losing champions!

I feel exactly the opposite on both subjects, actually. The intolerance towards public displays of affection really annoys me. Serenwilde seems more open-minded about it than the other orgs, but I'd still really like to see more tolerance.

And conflict, I'd prefer to see less, not more. I have not played much recently, so I accept that things may have changed, but when I was more active I could barely spend 20 minutes doing anything because I'd always have to drop it to go defend. I considered going rogue so I wouldn't have to deal with it, but instead I opted to go inactive for a while and see if things were better by the time I decided to return.

Quick, burn the detractor!

I think that the Halli/Gaudi quests should be more like the Ackleberry quest. That'll be cool.

EDIT: just the outcome, I mean, like talking to the river daughter.

Let's go bash Shallach knights! If we kill enough, you win a Malarius!

Edit Reply: I don't find snugglers any more annoying the those holier then thou fighters, or whiners about people who snuggle. Although I do understand the "Don't emote at mother" stuff to some extent, but really we call all CLIMB UP. If you don't like what you see, leave

But killing is far, far, far easier.

Or make the annoying people leave - whether they be those 'holier than thou' fighters or the snugglers.

If someone is annoying the majority of the people present, they can and should be asked to leave. Or, in Mag, they should be killed in cold blood as an example to others who would make such fools of themselves.
