Requiem really did seem to have his head screwed on right, so I'm really suspicious of Tsaephai. If he thought it didn't add up, it probably doesn't. Having said that, I don't understand the argument against Tsaephai at ALL, so I'm going to ask that someone who understands it (I assume that everyone voting for Tsaephai understands it) please explain it. Until then, so as not to contribute to a ninja lynch of some sort of highly useful mason, I'm reserving my vote.

The definition of a Mason is that they know about other Masons.
Requiem said that Tsaephai was another mason, and we know for a fact that Requium was in fact a mason. Therefore, Tsaephai claiming he knows nothing about being a mason is really suspicious. There is no good reason for a mason to claim that someone else is a mason, as all it does it make the Scum want to kill the person who claims to be a mason in the first place.
However Mason scum do exist, and so if Tsaephai is Mason scum he would want to deny being associated with that group and make the others look crazy.

Well then I'll roleclaim. The only thing my role says is that I'm a gunsmith(it said astrologer with gunsmith in parensesis, though) and I can check a person once each night to see if they have a weapon or not(although not which side they are on.)
I checked Verithrax last knight and it did say he had a weapon, which means he's vigilante, serial killer, mafia, or cop, or I'm crazy.
It says nothing about a mason in my role.

I'm inclined to not believe Tsaephai at all. I highly doubt Quidgyboo'd put anything as horrifyingly misleading as an insane mason in a game (especially a 12-player game) - it just doesn't make sense as it means that the mason role would be not only useless to the town but outright harmful to it.

If I knew they were a mason and I were scum, why would I have tried to get them hung by saying I'm not in one when that'd make me seem scummy, expesially when there were so many other things that seemed scummy about them to me?
I had no idea they were in a mason, and the only thing I could think of for why they'd say that was to try to get me not to be against them because I was the only one that'd still been voting against them for a while, but it turned out wronge.
And why do you keep implying I'm not sane, Okin?
