Something I think a lot of people miss with Mafia games is that even if you're lynched personally, you can still win. It's not as much fun, so most people tend to avoid this, but you do technically still win.

With a lack of anything better to go on, I'm going to join Mirk and Vote: Lysandus. After rereading the thread he's posted very little that was helpful; his only posts have been joining bandwagons and waiting for night to come. That's good enough for me on day 1. His choice to cast an OMGUS ("oh my god you suck" - generally a reactionary vote in which the person votes for someone else for no reason other than that person is voting for them) vote on the last page rather than actually defending himself was fishy as well.

Um, you know that I changed my vote back to Daganev, correct?

I voted Mirk because he wants me out, as I said I ask when will the game progress and as I newbie, how do I know all this? Does shifting to night 1 takes weeks?

I'm going to change my vote, because I'm the only one voting for Verithrax and nothing's getting accomplished. Though I'm still feeling fishy about him... I'm going to Unvote: Verithrax, Vote: Daganev.

I am torn between Lysandus, Mirk, and Sarvasti, I will go with whomever others think is the bigger threat to us.

I don't get it, just because I don't post I'm already a threat? I don't even know what to put in here unless if we can start a new topic. Plus I'm really innocent in this.

It was explained earlier by someone that lurking and not posting often was a sign of a newbie scum. So, that is how you're turning into a threat.

No, and that's only because I'm hesitant to vote for someone. So you're sticking to the whole No vote = No Lynch? Really, if you are it's silly. Some of us just need time to make a vote. I'd prefer to have a good reason to vote for someone and not jump to conclusions. However, I also understand that usually the first day is going to be different and you're probably going to have to randomly vote/jump to a conclusion. If you want to call me a threat, fine that's your choice but I'm honestly not a threat to anyone.

Seriously, Daganev, I know it's the first day, but stop being so damn paranoid. You're freaking the non-paranoid people out.

The deadline is in four days. We need to lynch someone (although apparently the person with the most votes at deadline is lynched, which would be Daganev right now).

Hmm, is that true? I'll have to go read the rules again, I thought there was only a lynch if there was a majority vote (i.e 6) at the deadline.

Ok, apparently Shamarah had the correct reading of the rules, and I didn't.

If I was new at the game, and was a townie and wasn't sure what to be doing I would be accepting advice from the crowd rather than trying to defend my actions by just saying "I'm new, leave me alone for making mistakes" (paraphrased of how I understand Lysandus's replies)

My translation of the rules is that if everyone got one vote, and one person got two votes then that person dies.

Let me go check who I'm voting for. I might change if, once I remember.

I still find Ytraelux most scummy, but in the interest of actually procuring a lynch today, I'll change my vote to Lysandus in the hopes of getting a role-claim at least.

Just for the record though, I do think Daganev it probably not scummy. I probably think that Verithrax isn't either.
