Simple question about the Chaos Seal even

The concept of chaos in Lusternia is closely tied to hamsters. Raezon once leashed a horde of them on Lusternia by accident, throwing the very workings of the reality into a disorganised mess. Roark had to fix it when he arrived later.

I was going to say that the hamster kept popping up in mount zoaka and near the other mountain related to the vernal god that was first seal of chaos.

My question is how come Shorlen, hater of the Celestians was working with Celest to get the seal. Oh and congrats Shorlen!! smile.gif

I just wasnt sure if during contests we are going to all be OOC for them, or if it is in character, as in maybe Shorlen had a group of people who want to see him ascend, so some of them were from Celest and they joined with him on this great adventure?

Either way, I just wanna know so I can figure out my rp angle too, so I don't come off lookin wierd defending say like Geb or someone on astral while tearing down Terentia shrines with the corpses I get tryin to keep him alive

Shorlen did not work with the celestines... shorlen was standing at the right place at the right time. There was some other people with shorlen who were upset that they didn't pick it up fast enough.

Umm, you didn't read any of what was said before, did you? tongue.gif

What happened was everyone was trying to kill Kaervas. Night fell five minutes before the end of the challenge. A Rage Coven who didn't want to see Kaervas get the seal for obvious reasons started nuking him. A group of Celestians that had been looking for him just happened to run into him just as they started. He died in the crossfire. The hamster just happened to appear at my feet. I picked it up, swung into the trees, and scampered off.

There was no "Celest helped Shorlen get it!" or anything blink.gif

Me?? Read?? Hell no. tongue.gif

And ok that explains more, I wasn't bitching, I was merely asking. Especially since I know how you feel about Celest. Well I know how your player feels.

I am torn too, I mean lets say at the finals there are 2 mags there. If I don't think they would be good ascended gods, I don't want to help them ascend. So it is causing me some inner conflict, which I will have to figure out in game on what to do.

I agree, that will be hard to deal with. I plan on playing it somewhat OOC, and supporting whoever I think will be a good divine, and dealing with whatever IC consequences might arise later.

Thanks Shiri. That makes me feel a little better, knowing there as at least an RP basis for hamsters and chaos. happy.gif It was hard to restrain myself from being negative about that aspect of it, now I'm glad I didn't gripe about it IG or here and look like ignorant troll poo. cheer.gif

unsure.gif Hm. Sorry, but I wasn't serious! I just made that up. Although there really was one time when Raezon put a couple extra 0s on the "create hamster" command or whatever and crashed the server, requiring Roark to wake up and fix it.
Noola2007-01-03 02:22:27
That sounds pretty chaotic to me Shiri! laugh.gif

Besides, I think hamsters and chaos go well together. I mean... have you ever seen a whole BUNCH of hamsters runnin around at once? wacko.gif laugh.gif
Shiri2007-01-03 02:44:23
Maybe someone should try to write a bardic about it and get it in the canon then! happy.gif
Gwylifar2007-01-03 03:08:17
Prestige, not bardic. smile.gif

Just a question out of curiousity. I wonder what would have happen should there be no one holding the purple hamster at the end of the hamsterhunt.

Edit: Well, the double post and phrasing. Looks like it doesn't matter though.

We almost found out the answer to that one....

Isn't it obvious? I would win by default...
