Naruto: Hurricane Chronicles to air February 15th
Reported by: Tazmo on Tuesday, Jan. 2nd, 2007 at 12:17PM
The second part of the Japanese Naruto anime series, Naruto: Hurricane Chronicles, has been given an official air date from an official reliable source, the pages of Shonen Jump. According to the full page ad, a one hour special featuring the characters with their new appearances will be airing on February 15th, 2007. This episode will essentially be a sneak peak of what is to come shortly after the airing of this special. It is thought that this will finally bring about the end of some of the longest fillers in anime history, that have so far stretched 80 episodes since May 25th, 2005. Along with this special, it has been becoming apparent for some time that the second part of the Naruto anime series would be ending soon, with various games announced and being released in the Spring that feature the character from the series' second part. So there you have it! Start your watches, we're only 43 days, or 1045 hours, 62741 minutes, and 3764465 seconds away!

I haven't been watching the Naruto filler arcs. I watched up to 136, and stopped. I'm glad they'll be getting back to the storyline though.

I gave up right after that "curry" arc. Digusting stuff.

I despise Naruto.
Half the time, he has annoyingly large eyes.
The other half, he has annoyingly NO eyes.
Plus, that little 'believe it' (?) motto he says sounds an awful lot like 'Bulimic'.
Burn, Naruto.

This is what you get for failing to watch anime in the original japanese with subtitles.

He doesn't say Believe It. He says Dattebayo, which is more or less something tacked onto the end of a sentence to mean "You can be sure of what I am saying."

eww, I accidentally saw part of one episode of the americanized versiononce , and I've got to say it was horrible. Dubbed is useally much worse then subbed in general anyway, unless they're very careful with it.
Inu yasha is pretty good dubbed. At least I think so. But it's the only anime I've seen so far that does a good job of it.
Naruto is definately better subbed. The dubbed version makes me...cringe. And it was tailored so little kids could watch it, so it's watered down animation as well.
Ashteru is right though, read the manga. The manga's much more gorier then the anime.
Shiri2007-01-04 05:52:35
Reading manga just doesn't have any impact though. It's not even like a good book.

Cowboy Bebop is far and above better dubbed than Inuyasha. Evangelion is also quite good. So is Blue Gender, and Witch Hunter Robin for that matter. Inuyasha bugged the hell out of me.

Naurto is the biggest piece of crap I ever made the mistake of watching.
No offense to Naruto fans. *resists using the common-usage name for them*

I never saw Cowboy Bebop subbed, it was fine dubbed though. Witchhunter Robin I didn't find any good at all in English though. It amazes me how terrible the VAs they seem to hire for these things are.
