Is conglutinate worth it, versus losses of experience in dying, in Astral bashing? Assuming one is subject to being killed by linked's and whole dens of urns/virgins/fesix?

Without question. Extremely worth it.

Conglutinate is one of the most useful skills in the game. After getting transcendent guildskills I'd say it's the first thing you should attain.

Heck, planar was my first transskill.

The best part about Conglut is that it makes dying off-prime so cheap, it becomes a fast way down from astral (at my level, it's worth the cost of 5 minutes of bashing), a good way to restore willpower at minimal cost, and effectively removes the cost from participating in raids. You'll get about as much xp from the one or two kills you get as you lose from conglut. So, if you're worried that if you participate in PvP, die, and lose hours and hours of bashing from praying, definitely get Conglut, and off-prime fighting becomes far more fun without all the worry.

Planar was the first skill I transed. Conglutination is wondrous.

It certainly is more worthy than many of the transcendent guild skills.

That's what I'm aiming for after transing my guild skills. Btw, sorry to derail but after Guild skills, what are the next skills I should work on? aside from Planar?

A little of a lot, I'd say.

I.E I prefer to spread my lessons over the bulk of the remaining skillsets, rather than focussing on one and transing it. That way you get lots of semi-useful skills very cheap.

Or try for a Tradeskill, it helps reel in money required to purchase more creddies!

Offer/defile up on Astral?

Dunno, offering doesn't do much for someone who isn't in an Order and who has zero gods he would follow that he's allowed to follow.

Same. Lets you hunt astral even if you really suck at it Not to mention that you can raid and defend as much as you like without being set back weeks of bashing.

I think only druids can influence astral mobs, if that. They arn't sentient, otherwise I'd do it.

You shouldn't be able to influence astral mobs though. Usually aggro creatures that you can analyze and such will have a message saying they're completely preoccupied with something else which makes it impossible to influence them. Aberrants and brains are like that too.
