I think Shaeden posted on a similar subject a while back, and the solution I gave doesn't work. Or didn't, rather.
I want Reiha to officially adopt these girls from Celest, and both I think are willing to reject the family they founded, but will it work?
Step 1: Person A is bloodbonded to Person B
Step 2: Person A and Person B reject the family they founded
Step 3: Person C adopt A and B?
If not, I think it would suck for them. One of the girls doesn't mind, but we are not so sure about the other one. She hasn't been too terribly active of late, but I'd hate to have them reject their family only for it not to work.
Any help is appreciated! Especially concrete answers.
Edit:
Here are the help files, but they don't really answer my question.

4.11.1 BLOODBOND
Syntax:
o BLOODBOND WITH - forms a bloodbond
o BLOODBOND BREAK - breaks a bloodbond
An alternative method of forming families requires two siblings rather than a
married couple. First, they must form a bloodbond and recognize each other as
potential siblings. Similar to considering parents, bloodbond siblings must
consider each other as their memories are fogged by the Portal of Fate.
There are several requirements before being able to be bloodbonded.
- Each sibling must be level 30 or above.
- Each sibling must have 75 hours of playing time.
- Neither can have parents or be considering parents. (See HELP FAMILY)
- Neither can be married or engaged.
- Neither can be active in a family.
Once bloodbonded with another, the siblings have a minimum of 24 months to
consider whether this is a true bloodbond. No other relationship can be entered
during this time of intense examination, such as an engagement or considering
parents. Either of them may break the bloodbond at any time.
If after 24 months, they feel that they are truly siblings, the bloodbonded may
then found a family together in exactly the same manner as a married couple.
Once the family is founded, the siblings are then free to marry and have
children as members of their family. Both siblings are considered founders of
the family.

Passing through the Portal of Fate forges the soul for greatness, but it
also creates some very substantive obstacles, one of which is the fact
that your memory has many holes. Some people may face the challenge of
finding the lost familial threads of his or her life. This is not an easy
task as even your parents may not easily recognize you, perhaps because of
actual physical alterations or perhaps because reality itself has slightly
shifted as the Fates spun your destiny. Whatever the case, if you think
you've found your parents, you must go through a period of time where you
consider whether these people are indeed your parents, and where they
consider if you indeed are their lost child.
In order to have a hope of finding your parents, they must be married and
willing to consider whether you are their child. If they are not bound
together in marriage, the emotional, spiritual and psychological
boundaries set by the Fates themselves will make the task impossible. The
parents you find may be your parents by blood or the ones who raised you.
They could be couples of different races or even a same sex couple. That
is for you to discover. Once the consideration period has passed, which
takes about one Lusternian year, this couple will forever be your parents
so use this time to consider wisely.
If you think you have found your parents, they must together take you to
the Hall of Records. Then one of the parents must FAMILY CONSIDER
and the consideration period will begin. During the next Lusternian year
either parent or yourself may FAMILY REJECT if any of you
come to the realization that this was a mistake. Both parents must be
married to each other and, of course, at least a 13 year span must be
between you in age. Parents may only consider one child at a time.
You and your spouse may FOUND FAMILY at the Hall of Records for a
fee of 25,000 gold. Only a couple with a family name may find their
children. Your children will take on your family name. You can use the
CONFIG command to always show your family name.
**REMEMBER TO CAPITALIZE YOUR FAMILY NAME WHEN FOUNDING A FAMILY***
FAMILY STATUS will show the status of your close family.
FAMILY RELATION will show your relationship with another, if it
exists, up to such distant relations as a second cousin or great aunt or
uncle.
FAMILY TREE will show the family tree by generation for
families or the family status of another.
Marriages cannot occur if there is a close family relationship between a
couple (for example, brother and sister). If only one of the couple has a
family name, marriage will bring the spouse into that family. If both
couples have family names, the person who proposes will be the primary
spouse and the secondary spouse will take his or her partner's family
name. If the couple divorces, the spouse will return to the birth family
name. Couples may be of any race or of the same sex.
You can reject your family by FAMILY REJECT FAMILY, in order to not be
actively associated with your birth family (if, for example, you wish to
found a family house yourself).
To return to a family, you can FAMILY ACKNOWLEDGE. It costs 10,000
gold to acknowledge a family and you must do so at the Hall of Records.
Note that if your spouse is active in a family, you may not acknowledge a
family that is different from his or her active family, and that if your spouse
is not active in a family, acknowledging a family will also bring your spouse
into that family (and require their presence during the acknowledging). In
other words, it isn't possible for you and your spouse to be in different
families.
If a family grows to over 50 active members (that is, 50 people can use
their family name), then that family will be considered a "Great House".
Great Houses will automatically receive their own news group, be able to
keep a family bank account, and have their own communication channel. If a
family drops below 50 active members, it will lose its status of a Great
House and the privileges associated with it.

No. Founders cannot be adopted.
Ildaudid2007-01-09 04:54:40
Aww and I was so looking forward to my celestian children
Noola2007-01-09 05:01:03
They can still be RP adopted you know. Noola's prolly never gonna be considered, cause it doesn't look like her mother is ever gonna return. Though her dad did!
But yeah. Even if you can't consider... doesn't mean you can't 'adopt.'

More Kalas...
Forren, come here and marry me already, we need a -smaller- family, I don't know the names of half of my current one anymore..
ON TOPIC: Yes you can RP being in the family even if officially you are not. I have done that for I don't know how many game years.. all I can say is that after a while it gets -really- old, especially if you want to marry and adopt children too. But hey, there's hope! Demigods were changed too after all.

The Kalas family is too big. You're adopting anyone under the sun, and the quality of your members is falling as a result. Be small but discerning, like the D'MURANI FAMILY WHO ARE ALWAYS LOOKING FOR GOOD PEOPLE TO JOIN US.
P.S Join us, not them.

Noola's already GOT a family. I can't just change her family after 23 years of being in the one she's in. But, Ildaudid, Corinthian, Aiakon, you're all sweet!

Really wish we could adopt founders who reject their families too.
Genevieve2007-01-10 07:21:22
I don't see why it's not possible to adopt founders who have rejected their family. Especially if they didn't found the family with a spouse, but rather a sibling. Seems odd.
