Shayle. Shayle is my best RP experience.
Astraea2007-01-12 03:22:09
Various Seren, and arguing with them. Also, there was this one Hartstone novice who I tried to convert to Glomdoring and I got to actually use impersonate. That was a good day. Other than that, I'd say every time I login I have great RP moments.

When Xavius, Kuraitaiyo, Yeralih, myself and one other I think were in the dark nest. We had a discussion on Shikari's and Viravain's ways and also about the different aspects. Best part was when Xavius told us the story about the Sun and the Moon and why they were in a never ending chase.
Also when over the guild channel we were talking about who was going to be Moralis' breakfast, lunch and dinner. I was lunch!
The best on going RP thing that's happened/ing to me is the whole thing about having novice stew. I love freaking Blackthorn and Fledglings out with that.

Everything...even the worst parts of it. The Glomdoring is the best RP experience, honestly.
And I don't give a damn what you say. Xenthos and Shayle are my RP idols...they hold to it the best out of anyone I've met...and damn have I met a lot of you freaks.
But my very favorite is the novices. I love teaching them, I love watching them grow, and I love watching each and every character develop from a tiny, confused innocent (or a loud, obnoxious brat) into the personality they become...even if they are still just bigger loud, obnoxious brats...

Thank you to all of you who have nice things to say about Shayle. She's (mostly) fun to play.
And yes, every day is a good rp day. It's the best thing about logging into a place like Glomdoring.

Since I dislike making lists of people because that only makes it a popularity contest, I'm not going to sum up names here, but there is a fair number of people who have had an impact on Myrhial's life so far. Which makes me happy because I like to really flow with what happends rather than set out things in stone and make it all go my way.
About events then, I had some good RP experiences during the restoring of Lord Ashtorath, and of course when the serpents invaded from the Nexus world. I also highly enjoy novice teaching, it is great to watch them grow and know you've helped them on their way and it's even more fun if you realise you're learning something from them.

I'm really having a lot of fun with Everiine, Azrean, Rabeth and Maeka, and very recently Shirath, playing this whole pre-made family RP, especially since Lucan is a bit of an anamoly in his family, being the only Glom in a big old snuggly group of Serens. I get a lot of great opportunities to RP with all of them. Just wish Solarus would get her butt in the realms more, then I could enjoy my RP with her too.
Ooh, and Xenthos. Xenthos has been totally awesome. I my mentor.

Nerra2007-01-13 07:09:07
I've had a lot of fun with Yini. She's quiet but every thing she has been has seemed deliberate. No, she's not the most charming/knowing person, (something I think people mistake for RPing) nor is she terribly extereme. I was asking her about White Hart and the morality of war, and she really answered like a concerned, older, wiser "mother-esc" figure would, IMHO. It actually felt genuine. Srisa has also done well, even if she can be annoying, she's -fairly- good at the blind thing.
Edit: I'll make a mention to Everiine too, even if Nerra does hate his character, it's always for the same IC reasons. As soon as he speaks up, I know what's comming. Rock on, admin!

Little private moments. Like what just happened this last hour.
Tzekelkan2007-01-15 01:16:16
Hey, I've been mentioned twice.
So, here's some of mine:
- Back when Verithrax was Seren/Celestian and we were Walkers. We were quite the hardcore (or softcore, depends on your point of view) pacifists... but Verithrax became progressively jerkish until the climactic moment when Terentia 'overheard' a conversation between me and him in which he was asking me to find dirty stuff on Celest's leadership as part of a 'test' to become second-in-command in the Walkers (second to him, d'oh). Then the resulting chaos: me quitting the Walkers, their ban from Celest, Verithrax' usual obnoxiousness while I was trying to save his skin, Terentia's kindness to me because of my honesty and the maturing of Tzekelkan as a character (a side-effect to that was that Tzek couldn't smile properly for years).
- Then there was when me and Sheia first met and began militating against the ban on leading Fae to Raziela. Sheia was so... wild, yet still a novice. We really wanted to find a way to convert the Fae in Etherwilde, but that was against the law, so we aimed at the ones in Etherglom (which were mechanically impossible to convert, but we didn't know that). I remember us deciding not to go there alone since it was a very dangerous place, but the second she was out of my sight she was up on Etherglom. The next thing I knew she was trying to hide her 4-5 afflictions from me while yelling, "I like cheese!" through Celest. I daresay I believe we played a major role as a cause of the Celest-Serenwilde war that ensued many years afterwards.
- The talks with Kyleel in either her manse or mine. We discussed many things from combat through love to Supernals. She even had a few spars with me which I disastrously lost.
- Trying to convince Anisu to come back to Celest because not everyone in Celest hated her like she kept claiming to be the case, darn that stubborn girl and her pessimistic views on everything, which were very entertaining, stimulating and fun.
- Other discussions with Shaeden (which is always fun in a very silly way) as we ran the guild together when he was Celestine GA, with Neerth (which is very funny in an intellectual way) and many others which are impossible for me to remember because of the late hour and piles of French homework I still have.

Edit: Debating/speaking with random people.
Druken2007-01-18 06:49:21
Let's see.
- Being entirely too flirtatious with Lacostian before joining the Glomdoring was fun. He'd actually flirt back, and said once that His feelings for Druken were starting to confuse Him.
- The conversion from Serenwilde Druken to Glomdoring Druken with Shayle, Xenthos and Urazial in attendance was excellent. Even after all of the events I was part of, having Shayle grill me into the ground for almost two hours, ending with being forced to let Urazial possess me with his dreamweaving, was the most entertaining.
- Helping Shayle degrade Rowena's behavior during some event or another. It's always fun when Rowena attempts to act out against the High Coven.
- Interacting with the coven in general. It's an incredible group of people, and all of them are able to withstand Druken's extremely high standards and flashfire temper. The atmosphere's always great.

Kaalak2007-01-30 19:01:35
Neerth is awesome to roleplay with. This was completely spontaneous.
All from Neerth's perspective.
-----------------------------------
(The Star Council): You say, "We are a righteous principality. He or she
who will serve the Light best should lead. Any can make that case."
(The Star Council): Kaalak says, "There are degrees of compentency
though, Old Mentor. You must agree with that, right?"
(The Star Council): Kaalak says, "Just mentor."
(The Star Council): You say, "Of - hmph - of course. Any can make the
case, but we in our wisdom must decide which case was best made."
A library catalogue rests here on a pedestal. A sturdy desk of chestnut
sits here. A finely wrought mahogany chair stands here. A glass seer's
candle floats freely in the air, its cold flame bathing the area in a
mysterious, deep blue light. Exorcist Kaalak, The Merciful Judge is
here. He wields a holy symbol of the light in his left hand and an orc
bone wand in his right. You may use the LIBRARY commands here.
You see a single exit leading southeast.
Kaalak bows respectfully to you.
You have emoted: Neerth leans his head back and sends a cheerful gout of
flame up above Kaalak's head.
"Eep!", Kaalak screams in fright.
You nod your head sagely.
You sit yourself down on a finely wrought mahogany chair and make
yourself comfortable.
You say, "That'll learn you."
Exorcist Kaalak, The Merciful Judge runs around screaming, his eyebrows
on fire.
Rolling his eyes up towards the firmament, you mutter, "Oh .. .aziela."
You have emoted: Neerth holds out a beryl vial sympathetically.
In a paniced screech, Exorcist Kaalak, The Merciful Judge says to you,
"My eyebrows. They are the best part of my face!!!! Ahhhhhhh!"
You say, "Maybe another part will be promoted now!"
You nod your head eagerly.
Exorcist Kaalak, The Merciful Judge grabs the beryl vial and starts
chugging it.
"Ummmm," you say uncertainly.
You have emoted: Neerth pantomimes spreading the salve on the face.
Exorcist Kaalak, The Merciful Judge turns green and looks at Neerth. He
then starts spitting out the salve, careful to avoid the bookshelves.
You look up into the air for divine inspiration.
You say, "If I'd wanted you dead, I'd've killed you before training you.
Now you're too fit and good at healing yourself."
Exorcist Kaalak, The Merciful Judge mutters to himself about Dracnari
and tremblingly applies the vial to his eyebrows, whispering 'my
precious' over and over again.
Exorcist Kaalak, The Merciful Judge exclaims, "I THOUGHT is was a vial
of frost!"
Exorcist Kaalak, The Merciful Judge says, "It was."
Kaalak mutters discontentedly.
You say, "Frost ... in a beryl vial?! Ludicrous. My frost is in a
diamond vial."
Kaalak stares implacably at you.
Exorcist Kaalak, The Merciful Judge says, "I'm going to go find a tree."
Exorcist Kaalak, The Merciful Judge says, "And sit in it."
You wrap a comforting arm around Kaalak.
You say, "See, fire elixir goes in garnet vials."
Exorcist Kaalak, The Merciful Judge says, "Oh ha ha ha. Colour
coordination for the Merciful Judge."
You say, "Choleric and phlegmatic and sanguine in amethyst vials. But
melancholic, that's jade."
Kaalak gets some gold sovereigns from a black leather and silk backpack.
Kaalak stares at you, his eye twitching.
Kaalak chuckles long and heartily.
You hum innocently to yourself.
You will now be known as Head Archivist Neerth Scorcher of Eyebrows, by
order of Exorcist Kaalak, The Merciful Judge.
You ponder the situation.
Exorcist Kaalak, The Merciful Judge runs out of the library.
You yell, "I've been falsely accused!"
All from Neerth's perspective.

Anyone from Glomdoring, especially all the shadowdancers and blacktalon(who I RP with more than anyone else). The RP level there is very high. And I love how I can make a character there and not talk to anyone else but people from Glomdoring. Something that was pretty hard in other RP MUDS I played on.

Pretty much any experience with Morgfyre, whether it be on a personal or organizational level, increases the quality of roleplay in general, or so it seems to me.

a few days ago, when Charune portal'd me to his fulcrux and chatted with me about the Elder Wars, and got me started on my current quest to find the book of Xyl
