Everytime I see the word 'Runescape' being used to describe EE it makes me worry... comparing to WoW is okay fear.gif

I looked at the Midikemia forums a while back, couldn't see anything really outstanding about it :S

Whenever you see that, you can quote the post, and see the web address of the image. The one posted above is this one:

404 error: you do not have permission to see this site (or something like that)

Refresh it, the reason that it is giving a Forbidden error (and is not showing on the page) is that the server is configured to not allow hotlinking. When you click on a link or load an image in a page, the address of the page from which you are accessing the image is sent to the server as part of the query. In order to save bandwidth, some administrators prevent people from viewing images on their server if the originating page is not one from their server. Refreshing the image (or just copying and pasting it into your web browser's URL field) will send a query with no originating address, which will trick the server into giving you access to the image.

*twitch*
must...not...explain...StarGate...SG-1...

I'm sitting here in my own mountain of excretement here, I'm so damn excited.

But there's a catch...

I'm not excited about the graphical MMO. At all. (This is because, well, Lusty in graphics is something you just can't do interactively. A movie, maybe, with StarWars 3 style overuse of movie magic. But not interactive.)

It's the fact I found the forums for the Midkemia MUD

So I'm not the only one that thought stargate? biggrin.gif

Nope. Like I've said, the whole "ancient mythology was based on truth" thing is not new at all.

Well, I specifically meant the Norse being wiped out by Anubis. Of course in Stargate, the Norse were the Asgard, and Anubis was a gou'auld trying to kill them.

And it wasn't new when Stargate mashed it, either.

As the game appears to be aimed specifically at an online subcommunity that I am not terribly fond of, chances are that I will not try the game. That said, it is an interesting experiment, and I'd love to see how it turns out smile.gif

Your not going to play it because you think it may turn you into a furry lover and then you'll have to quit your job and live in a basement collecting furry memorabilia?

Atavian FTW. I'm interested in seeing how Earth Eternal implements flying.

I don't really get it, but Aiwendil asked me to post this link.

...yeah, she'll explain later I guess.

EDIT:

Wendy says:
haha, put this in
Wendy says:
"It's for those people who can't see the pic that Ash posted earlier."
Wendy says:
"I just didn't want to log in >.>"
Wendy says:
that's to the original site
Wendy says:
it doesn't work for some people still, and I wanted it to be posted there directly, not a link
