So from earlier today, I realised I had the log. It made me giggle.
The story - Shorlen had been fighting Dia in a choke, at twisting pathways -
I noticed he was there, was just about to head in, and got there just as Shorlen died - but before he died, he'd sapped Dia. I then hexed up Dia and threw in aeon, and it all went very much downhill for him. And yes, I cut out anything saying with what I was hexing with. Have to protect my combos >.>

Why is that toads can dodge? Why is the Moon "instakill" so much worse than Absolve? I could see if they were uncurably toaded, but they can be cured, naturally shift back after a bit, and can run away.

Toad seems like the closest thing to insta-kill that (Moondancers?/Wiccans in general?) have. Aquas have Preserve, and it's a pain in the ass to pull off. For 8 power, fairly easy to pull off, target require 1/2 mana and only two hits, making it uncurable would be God in any situation.
If you're curious about preserve, here's the AB for it:

Aquas can't stunlock like Wiccans can, so we can't keep the target around for us to pull it off. With pixies, and pookas you can keep the target asleep and thus incapable of action. Granted there are a few things in Psionics, but not everyone has psionics.
So yeah, Toadcurse uncurable=Overpowered.

I think you're overreacting a bit. All he said is that stomp is fine. Like many of our other skills it's strictly worse than its counterparts, but it's not ridiculously bad like it used to be, so I would agree with him on this one.
