Murphy had insane prenerfs, much more impacting with wounds due to his crush than my minor bonus from damage stats.
Since the prenerf removal nothing really has changed significantly- my kills usually come withing a few seconds of when they would have before. The caps should revert really for damage and speed (precision cap seems perfect), mages have always had the best damage since the beginning of Lusternia, sad as that is, the horrible arrival of psionics makes shields useless.

Good speed weapons rocks.
And yea good wariors have few sets of weapons. I was carring 3 sets, one for speed, 280+ speed rapiers, for bashing and for few combos, /x210+/230+ rapiers for speed and nice wounding, those rapiers later went to Ixion. And some 180 damage broadswords to deal nice damage when i had too.

I've also got 280 speed raps (mmm, drawdown so 290) for hunting.
Should I get some high damage broads as well?

I figured alger, yourself terenas and icarus as not an axelord were all there before the weapon nerfs, is that wrong?
Chill just you said the majority of top knights were using rapiers and listing people using rapier/hammer weapons, I said not really the majority of top knights now a days such as ethelon and ixion and daevos who you have listed as examples are now using scimitars and how the majority of the examples of people you listed as using rapiers have either changed to using scimitars after the nerf or are no longer playing, and I do remember murphy saying about how if he had to switch to postnerf weaponry he would be using morning stars because he believed they would be better wounding.

Yes, get every possible combination of weapons you can think of.

I found most warriors who are good use faster weapons, unless you have the buffs and arties to really beef up your damage to lvls where it becomes really hard to keep up with a damage onslaught. wounding on the other hand allows you to really incapacitate people and keep them in a constant state of being messed up and ont he defensive.
