It's probably based on fairness more than anything else. Especially if the descriptions were blind to the creators, to prevent bias.

Because alts in this game aren't treated like newbies. I've seen alts - not even alts of particularly significant people - Get city and guild positions at an alarming rate without working for it, because, being alts, they could 'be trusted'.

This was a fine decision to make, but Amarysse hasn't logged in in three days now, and she was only a few days old to begin with. What if she never does? Shouldn't the seal be given to a player who actually plays, since it's such an important part of Lusternian history? That's my only concern, that she doesn't even come around for the event...

I don't mind my account being credited -700cr and getting the Medallion instead. The fame of being marked by the medallion of Beauty (meaning best designer), if not godhood, is something Kharaen would value more then credits.

Like the others though, kind of worried that this character's going to be deleted (noobs get deleted after not logging in for so long?) or never logs in. Maybe she's reading these posts and can make a post of her own.

I do appreiciate that it was a blind judging though, that made things fair. The judges would have had no idea that it was a novice design, and it WAS a really good tapestry.

I wouldn't like to call this Wildecraft's fault (and stop pretending it's Serenwilde's, we had nothing to do with it )...the blind judging was a good way to go about it and I'm glad Estarra did it, and hopes she did it again despite the fact it backfired ridiculously this one time. But Wildecraft couldn't've known this would happen either.

The demonic lyre wasn't a new design. People could of submitted old stuff and had a chance to win But being marked by Beauty means you were leet enough to get the Seal, that out of all the people that did submit, you were the best. And will be forever marked so.

Just don't bring up the seal IG with Kharaen. It will totally bum her out, and send her into a fit of crying.

Seriously though, I'd like the character to be made permanent or something if she doesn't log in again. I dislike the idea of her being deleted due to inactivity and if someone tries to honours her a few months after the contest they only get a 'There is no such person' (Thinking about it, that would actually be quite ironic. Lusternia has no beauty. )

I don't mind that a novice won, it's kinda nice to have the established players shown up from time to time.

A novice is one thing, and if it were a legitimate novice there wouldn't be anything to worry about, really. It's more that it's an alt that's probably never going to see any play again. So it's a waste.
