I must say I am really proud of Exarius!
He became a rogue and had to deal with a lot of in-game and OOC pressure at times, but he really deserves this seal. He obviously had a strategy nobody else thought of.
I think he'll make a wonderful god if he choses to go that route.

I strongly disagree. He doesn't believe in the paradigm on which Lusternia is based, and thinks conflict is a bad thing that should be removed from the game. The last thing we need, if you ask me, is yet another god of peace and love and everyone should be friends. Isune at least was interesting, with her "the kindest gift you can give to the tainted is death, to free them from their pain," stuff.
He won largely because he was the only one influencing in aetherspace for most of the event, and the denizens of Frostica were heavily overvalued.

First off, you don't know what kind of god Exarius might become. Exarius really has strong RP and he also has the wisdom and experience to handle this, IMO. I thought he had a great deal of bravery when he pointed out the hypocrisies of Serenwilde breaking oaths, for instance. The "paradigm of Lusternia" is not just conflict. Conflict is important but it's not the whole of the game now. Estarra removed conflict quests for an important reason. It's a MUD, if people want easy to do balanced combat they'd play a graphic MMORPG, I think most of us are here for the other things it involves.

And that is good strategy. Aetherspace should not have been ignored. I've seen Exarius spend a lot of time out there, so this strategy worked for him.

Oh, I don't think that he'd be a god of peace and love. In fact, I have a suggestion on who he should zap first.

Congrats, Exarius!
And Shorlen - a more neutral god would make things interesting.

There was nothing clever about Aetherspace, If I had a ship, or knew how to fly one, I would have gone there first thing.
Gwylifar2007-01-21 23:56:15
You'd think believing in RP would be a minimum requirement for an RP god position.
Felandi2007-01-21 23:56:26
I find it funny that all of us who really wanted godhood and even advertised about it is without a seal.
Richter2007-01-22 00:05:32
Eh, what can you do.
Damnit Jim! I'm a roleplayer, not a hamster catcher/fighter/disease curer/etc.

Aetherbubbles are definitely worth the trip. I can actually make near-astral XP in a combination of two bubbles.

You've had your fair share of bumps with the administration which might suggest you differ from the enshrined paradigm also (whatever that might be). Exarius won so he deserves the seal, congratulations to him.

I didn't say he didn't deserve the seal, I was just expressing my opinion in disagreement with Tully's voiced support.
Genos2007-01-22 01:20:21
As long as the final challenge stays the same I doubt Exarius will have a chance anyways. However, congrats to him for winning the Seal as he dominated most of the challenge.
Exarius2007-01-22 01:46:27
Thanks, Tully. I much appreciate it.
And, yes, I'm well aware I'm a dark horse candidate, but I'll go ahead and put my effort in, at least to see what support is out there.

You are the worse thing that could've happened to the seal! The game is going down because of you. You'd make a terrible, terrible, foul, horrifying RP god, and I think you should just drag yourself back into your hole before the paragons of good roleplay that are (Edit: Indirect personal attacks are as bad as direct ones) beat you into submission!
Kharaen2007-01-22 04:18:06
Heeeeyyy, cheap blow on Amarysse. No one's actually seen how she roleplays yet.
Verithrax2007-01-22 04:19:10
It's not so much her roleplay, but the horrifying bad roleplay around her that let her submit on behalf of a public cartel.
