One of America's beloved icons, Woodsy Owl, apparently underwent a Makeover. There are a couple of blog entries about this.

I guess apparently the old Woodsy Owl looked "fat", or something. Well, it's an Owl. A real costume would look like that. Sheesh. The new Woodsy looks like what would happen if we got an Owlman race in Lusternia, or maybe a real ugly Trill.

They even have instructions on destroying the old costumes! Sheesh, you'd think it was as important as flag disposal or broken icon disposals.

We dont' have that stuff in Europe I think. The old owl is much more cuter, the new one looks like a guy disguised of a squirrel. It's creepy.

I remember when they changed Smokey the Bear to the half man-half bear (he even has man-nipples!!) thing he is now. It made me sad.
