That's what posting to threads that aren't active any more (you'll note that there was a 2-month window between posts, from January 3rd to March 1st) is called.

Technically, pinned threads aren't supposed to "die", so you can't really necro these threads.

Hm, very true. Good point.

There are quite a few threads in this subforum that are pinned but have pretty much expired. Perhaps it's time for them to be unpinned.

As far as I'm concerned it's still January.

This thread can't be necro'd, it's an idea thread. That's like saying we should get rid of Survival Guide because people post in it once every 2 weeks.

We need more sexual emotes that are anatomically possible for female+female and male+male. The possibilities are endless.

Yet if you look at timestamps and traditional posting patterns, these sorts of threads really do have a lifespan. If this was unpinned and let go, and a new one started up in a couple of weeks by an Admin, I imagine you'd see a whole flurry of new posting (everyone likes the Admin popping in and commenting on their ideas!)

PS: Almost every thread in this part of the forum is an Ideas thread. They can still be necroed. The content of the post doesn't somehow make it immune. The "pinned" point is much more relevant.

I think the whole point was that she was replying to a comment made by Xenthos in January. She wasn't coming up with a new emote idea.

So, this is my first post here on the boards and I noticed there aren't any racial emotes for Dwarves! Needless to say, this cannot be. So I've written a few of them for the consideration of the admins. Hopefully one or two will make it, and I'll cross my fingers for all of them! On an unrelated note, I doubt these will top the almighty and hilarious emote GIRN.


SWIG
