Write one up. I create and approve emotes based purely on suggestions from mortals and our dear baby ephemerals. It's a rare day that I come up with an emote I want to see as most of the ones I'd want are relevant only to the gods and I can't share them with mortals.

Not sure if this is an emote or not. Went through all the emotionlist and didn't see one that seemed to reflect it.

STOIC

First Person: You sit upon the ground, cross your legs, and meditate quietly.
Third Person: $+who sits upon the ground, crosses $his legs, and begins meditating quietly.

POSE:
First Person: You gaze at $target quietly, your mind meditating upon their purpose.
Second Person: $+Who gazes at you, their gaze soft and stoic.
Third Person: $+Who gazes at $target, their gaze soft and stoic.

Metea is here, legs crossed and eyes gazing at the distant horizon.
Metea is here, gazing at Murphy quietly.

I'm going to go ahead and say no to that one due to the issue of it being too closely related to MEDITATE and MED. There's a possibility of causing confusion and/or problems.

Changed it to Stoic. Not sure what else to name it. Anyone have any suggestions?

So maybe stoic wasn't the best emote I've ever come up with, but I was using my favorite emote in-game (STARS) and I couldn't find it on the emotionlist.

So I'm not sure if it has a pose. If not, could we get a pose for it pleasey weasy?

I'd like to see a way of holding hands besides being shy about it.


First Person: You fondly take 's hand into your own.
Second Person: fondly takes your hand into his/her own.
Third Person: fondly takes 's hand into his/her own.

POSE
Third Person: and are holding hands fondly.

Something like that, although it seems awfully similar to the regular holdhand emote aside from "fondly" being replaced.

beneath you.


COOKIE

Untargetted: Your eyes pop open wide, drool falls down the side of your mouth and you scream, "COOKIE!"

Targetted: You stare at a mature birch tree, eyes wide and drool falling down the side of
your mouth as you scream, "COOKIE!"


GNAW

Untargetted: You look around for someone to gnaw upon.

Targetted: You pounce upon a mature birch tree, gnawing upon it hungrily.

Hmmm.....Moondancer Conspiracy emote...kinda like this?

SKYCLAD

(no target 3rd) :X hums a few notes of a lilting melody, looking heavenward and tugging absentmindedly on his/her clothing...do they not fit right?

(no target 1st) You hum the first notes of some cerimonial song, beseeching Mother Moon for release from these horrid rags you find yourself trapped in.

(target 3rd) X whispers something to Y, and tugs pitifully on thier clothing.

(target 2nd) X whispers a prayer to Mother Moon in your ear, and begins tugging on your clothing absentmindedly.

(target 1st) Whispering to Y, you beg Mother Moon to free them from the oppressive bonds of society.

New idea for emote.

Nosepoke

1st Person: You stick out a finger and poke yourself in the nose.
3rd Person: Doman pokes himself in the nose.

Targeted:
1st Person: You stick out a finger and poke Murphy in the nose.
2nd Person: Doman pokes you in the nose.
3rd Person: Doman pokes Murphy in the nose audaciously.

Pose:
Doman is here, repeatedly poking Murphy's nose audaciously.

How about: "curtnod"

Untargeted: ---- nods his/her head curtly

Targeted ---- nods curtly at you.


No pose.


I know its simple, but its hard to find a good nod emote that isn't emphatic or just simple.

As a note, your sig may be a bit too big. It currently takes up most of my screen, with picture + text.

SKANK and SKANK (the dance)

SKANK
1st Cockily strutting about the room you wave your arms bank and forth, skanking proudly to the beat
3rd PERSON struts crazily about the room, her/his arms bent and swinging wildly

SKANK
1st Grinning at , you happily skank in circles around her/him, urging them to feel the beat
2nd PERSON suddenly bends his/her arms and struts circles around you, clearly thinking they are the coolest cat.
3rd PERSON suddenly bends her/his arms and struts circles around , urging them to join the dance.

Where I come from, a skank isn't something very nice, and when I first saw the emote name, I had a much MUCH different idea of what this emote would be!

I second the Moondancer Conspiracy emote!

I doubt this is the correct section, but it's the best I could think of for this.

For those who have chosen the Crow Totem, you can build a nest.

Presently, if you are in another's nest, they will munch on their carrion. The message in this case is:
You almost gag watching *name* casually chew upon the rotten flesh stuck in the nest.

It seems rather silly to have this reaction if you have taken on the Crow spec, especially if you have your own nest with carrion to snack on.

Could instead of this, for those with Crow spec, there be an alternative? Something like:
You find yourself salivating as you watch *name* casually chew upon the rotten flesh stuck in the nest.
