Not sure if I should count, but anyway...

1. What is your main character's nation?
Serenwilde
2. What is your nation's fundamental purpose? Use no more than one sentence.
To restore life, unaltered, to the Basin of Life.
3. What is your nation's definition of the Taint?
Taint is one of the many ways life has been corrupted.
4. Will your nation tolerate the existence of Taint?
Not in the long run, but it might well tolerate it for now, for strategic purposes, while waiting for the right time to get rid of it.
5. What is your nation's definition of the Light?
Maybe it was a good idea at one time but it ended up just another way to corrupt life.
6. Will your nation tolerate the existence of the Light?
Not in the long run, but it might well tolerate it for now, for strategic purposes, while waiting for the right time to get rid of it.
7. What is your nation's definition of the Wyrd?
I left before they did the whole Wyrd thing, but from what I hear, Gwylifar would probably consider it to be a "second stage of evolution" of Taint. It's even worse than Taint or Light because it corrupts life at a more fundamental and more insidious level.
8. Will your nation tolerate the existence of the Wyrd?
Not in the long run, but it might well tolerate it for now, for strategic purposes, while waiting for the right time to get rid of it.
9. What is your nation's definition of Nature?
Nature is Life, as it was originally formed, as it was meant to be. Nature is ever-changing, but cyclical.
10. Will your nation tolerate the existence of Nature?
Of course!
11. Will your nation tolerate the existence of the undead?
Good question. While the natural inclination is to assume undeath is unnatural, a breaking of the cycle of life, the histories are unclear. Gwylifar never really dug too deeply into the question.
12. Which nation has given yours the most reason to oppose them? Why? (Briefly)
Glomdoring, because the wyrd is (as described above) a more fundamental and more insidious threat against Life.
13. Is there any nation with which you have little to no disagreement? If so, which?
At any given time, we have no active disagreement with as many of them as possible, because the time is not yet right to strike against them, and preserving the seed is more important than planting it until that time.
14. Are there any races which receive special treatment in your nation? Which and why? (Briefly)
Gwylifar doesn't consider the viscanti a true race, but merely mutants of other races, so no. If you consider the viscanti a race, then yes: they need to be cured. They'll thank you for it later, once they're back in their right minds.
15. Does your nation believe individual freedom is more important than collective responsibility and duty?
It shouldn't. Sometimes, though, it mistakenly thinks it does.
16. Does your nation believe that its people or its physical and planar areas have more influence on its culture?
Not sure what you're getting at. I think the latter should have more influence but of course due to the nature of the game (NPCs being inanimate, for instance) the former is always true.
17. Does your nation believe that their Guides (Cosmic/Elemental Lords and Great Spirits) are infallible?
No. But they're awfully keen.
18. Does your nation believe that their Guides should override their mortal leadership?
If necessary, yes. Serenwilde has had long experience with bad or even treasonous leaders.
19. Does your nation seek expansion and conquest? (Not counting swaying villages)
Yes. But it wouldn't call it that. After all, it's really restoration of what used to be there, so it's not really conquest so much as liberation.
20. Finally, list three to five core beliefs unique to your nation alone that do not reference individual entities. (Not "we follow White Hart" for instance).
Natural life with its cycles of life and death is sacred in its balance; it alters itself just fine, and doesn't need anything outside to alter it.
Cities and other signs of civilization are a seductive mistake. Those who have been seduced by it are incapable of realizing their own delusion until they're freed of it.
Predation is a vital part of nature. Underhunting is just as bad as overhunting, and overprotecting things is as unnatural as massacring them.

I wrote my answers without reading anyone else's. I think I misread 14 but I'm leaving my answer there anyway because I like it.

An interesting set of questions. Here are the answers I'm trying to have Zalandrus follow, as well as some of the spiteful annoyances I dislike about Celest right now

1. What is your main character's nation?
Celest

2. What is your nation's fundamental purpose? Use no more than one sentence.
To spread the teachings of the Light and to atone/fix for the mistakes of the Old Celestian Empire

3. What is your nation's definition of the Taint?

Touch of Kethuru, a force of suffering and cruelty, outside the brilliance of the Light

4. Will your nation tolerate the existence of Taint?
Um...no

5. What is your nation's definition of the Light?
A healing force opposing the Taint, meant to strike awe and wonder at its purity and brilliance (or something like that)

6. Will your nation tolerate the existence of the Light?
I would certainly hope so.

7. What is your nation's definition of the Wyrd?
Something separate from the Taint, that's for sure. A creation of when Viravain and Isune and who knows what else incubated together.

8. Will your nation tolerate the existence of the Wyrd?
Yes, because we can't fight a 3 on 1 war

9. What is your nation's definition of Nature?
The natural world. All those trees and animals and such.

10. Will your nation tolerate the existence of Nature?
Yes, because again, we can't fight a 3 on 1 war.

11. Will your nation tolerate the existence of the undead?
Nope.

12. Which nation has given yours the most reason to oppose them? Why? (Briefly)
Magnagora, because in the system of duality Lusternia has set, they're our opposite. Simple as that.

13. Is there any nation with which you have little to no disagreement? If so, which?
Not really. There are tensions with all three. I'd say there's the least tension with Glomdoring right now.

14. Are there any races which receive special treatment in your nation? Which and why? (Briefly)

Merians don't receive special treatment necessarily, but are the most common and most tied to our history

15. Does your nation believe individual freedom is more important than collective responsibility and duty?

I don't think this is really an issue that comes up. Everyone in Celest has to follow the Light, and thus, everybody must work towards the same goals, really.

16. Does your nation believe that its people or its physical and planar areas have more influence on its culture?
Planar areas: Celestia, by far. It's the Plane of Light, we're the City of Light.

17. Does your nation believe that their Guides (Cosmic/Elemental Lords and Great Spirits) are infallible?
Hm...I would say Elohora is for the most part infallible, but Methrenton and Raziela seem to have some flaws, the former being too focused on militaristic activity and the latter being the opposite, loving too much. Japhiel is too bookish, really, and Shakiniel...well, I always saw her as more closely tied to Methrenton, but I suppose there is a difference.

18. Does your nation believe that their Guides should override their mortal leadership?
Hm...I think our nation is highly unsatisfied with its mortal leadership right now, so anything that will override them will be listened to, basically. Then again, it's just a select few very loud people who are raising up a ruckus and whining about everything, so who knows. Perhaps we just believe the loudest and strongest should be able to override everything.

19. Does your nation seek expansion and conquest? (Not counting swaying villages)
It's not 'conquest', it's 'preaching'. We have to spread the Light.

20. Finally, list three to five core beliefs unique to your nation alone that do not reference individual entities. (Not "we follow White Hart" for instance).
1. The Taint is an evil entity that must be banished from the Basin for the good of all humanity. The Light, being opposed to the Taint, is the best force to do that, and we will wield it in our holy crusade.
2. We must atone for the mistakes of our ancestors (ties in to goal 1)
3. (Supposedly:) We must act always with the teachings of all 5 supernals in mind, not only willing to use strength when we need to, but also to be able to love and reason.
4. The ends often justify the means, when dealing with the Taint (this is more in recent events)

I could add in a lot more sarcasm, but I think that'd be mean, and plus, I don't want to get started on my rant rolleyes.gif

13. Is there any nation with which you have little to no disagreement? If so, which?
Glomdoring, because we like alchemy.
14. Are there any races which receive special treatment in your nation? Which and why? (Briefly)
Merians are the dominant race in the city, for the most part.
15. Does your nation believe individual freedom is more important than collective responsibility and duty?
The citizenry itself is fairly split on the issue, but I think our ideologies in general would point more towards collective responsibility and duty.

Planar areas.
17. Does your nation believe that their Guides (Cosmic/Elemental Lords and Great Spirits) are infallible?

Gavriel2007-01-27 06:04:50
1. What is your main character's nation?
The Mighty Dominion of Magnagora

2. What is your nation's fundamental purpose? Use no more than one sentence.
Eradication of the Light, spreading the glory of the Taint.

3. What is your nation's definition of the Taint?
The lingering touch of the Almighty Kethuru.

4. Will your nation tolerate the existence of Taint?
Of course.

A driving force of hypocrisy and lies, glorifying ignorance and weakness.

6. Will your nation tolerate the existence of the Light?
Never.

7. What is your nation's definition of the Wyrd?
A twisted version of the Taint.

8. Will your nation tolerate the existence of the Wyrd?
The Engine will eventually consume it.

9. What is your nation's definition of Nature?
The spirits, the fae, and so on.

10. Will your nation tolerate the existence of Nature?
See 8.

11. Will your nation tolerate the existence of the undead?
Of course, undeath is a superior state of being.

12. Which nation has given yours the most reason to oppose them? Why? (Briefly)
Celest, for harboring the Light and attempting to hinder the mighty Engine's progress.

13. Is there any nation with which you have little to no disagreement? If so, which?
Serenwilde.

14. Are there any races which receive special treatment in your nation? Which and why? (Briefly)
The Viscanti, being touched most directly by the Taint, are vastly superior to all other races. Any Elfen or Merian, regretably tied to the Light by their very nature, are treated as lessers.

15. Does your nation believe individual freedom is more important than collective responsibility and duty?
No.

16. Does your nation believe that its people or its physical and planar areas have more influence on its culture?
The physical and planar areas.

17. Does your nation believe that their Guides (Cosmic/Elemental Lords and Great Spirits) are infallible?
Perhaps not infallible, but less so than the mortals that follow them.

18. Does your nation believe that their Guides should override their mortal leadership?
Perhaps not override, but provide a strong influence.

19. Does your nation seek expansion and conquest? (Not counting swaying villages)
Of course, gotta spread the love undeath and all that.

20. Finally, list three to five core beliefs unique to your nation alone that do not reference individual entities. (Not "we follow White Hart" for instance).
* One must embrace the touch of the Almighty, or be consumed by it.
* Change and adaptation is the way of the Taint.
* The Light is little but a beacon of ignorance and greed. Those that gaze into it eventually become blinded to the truth, desperately seeking to depict themselves as paragons of love and virtue. As such, it must be eliminated.

I'm going to answer the questions from Richter's perspective, and from Deepnight's future one. Unfortunately, while I built the city, most of the culture and ideals are in my head alone, but I hope that someday, other characters would answer similarly on here.

1. What is your main character's nation?
The Aethercity of Deepnight
2. What is your nation's fundamental purpose? Use no more than one sentence.
To exist, free from the bounds of the other organizations.
3. What is your nation's definition of the Taint?
Byproduct of Kethuru, no longer possessed by him it is useful in some instances.
4. Will your nation tolerate the existence of Taint?
Yes, but not within the city and not encroaching on any territories.
5. What is your nation's definition of the Light?
Whereas the Taint is a physical thing, the Light does not appear to be. The light is a set of codes and ethics, etc, though it tends to blind the Celestians.
6. Will your nation tolerate the existence of the Light?
Sure, whatever does it for you.
7. What is your nation's definition of the Wyrd?
Changed taint, but not taint now.
8. Will your nation tolerate the existence of the Wyrd?
Sure. It's just weird forest anyway.
9. What is your nation's definition of Nature?
Again, a physical thing. Nature is nice, natural, and we like it, especially mixing building and such with it in pleasing ways.
10. Will your nation tolerate the existence of Nature?
Yes, and we like to incorporate it.
11. Will your nation tolerate the existence of the undead?
We don't have a reason to not tolerate them. Kind of gross sometimes though.
12. Which nation has given yours the most reason to oppose them? Why? (Briefly)
Serenwilde, though it's been a long time since there was conflict.
13. Is there any nation with which you have little to no disagreement? If so, which?
Celest.
14. Are there any races which receive special treatment in your nation? Which and why? (Briefly)
No, everyone should be treated equally, but we're partial to changelings, due to their uniqueness and adaptability.
15. Does your nation believe individual freedom is more important than collective responsibility and duty?
Yes and no. Individual freedom is everything to us, but we can pull together for our responsibilities.
16. Does your nation believe that its people or its physical and planar areas have more influence on its culture?
Planar, obviously.
17. Does your nation believe that their Guides (Cosmic/Elemental Lords and Great Spirits) are infallible?
Not at all.
18. Does your nation believe that their Guides should override their mortal leadership?
n/a
19. Does your nation seek expansion and conquest? (Not counting swaying villages)
Expansion, eventually.
20. Finally, list three to five core beliefs unique to your nation alone that do not reference individual entities. (Not "we follow White Hart" for instance).
How about six? Rationality, pride, strength, greatness, command, and nonaggression (though each of those has a detailed explaination)

1. What is your main character's nation?
The Glomdoring.
2. What is your nation's fundamental purpose? Use no more than one sentence.
Further the boundries of the forest until there is nothing but Wyrd.
3. What is your nation's definition of the Taint?
The residue Kethuru left behind.
4. Will your nation tolerate the existence of Taint?
Until we have enough power to replace it with the Wyrd, yes.
5. What is your nation's definition of the Light?
A set of teachings from beings who aren't complete.
6. Will your nation tolerate the existence of the Light?
Until we have enough power to replace it with the Wyrd, yes.
7. What is your nation's definition of the Wyrd?
The pinnacle of creation. Any weakness is removed through evolution.
8. Will your nation tolerate the existence of the Wyrd?
Can't argue with what's perfect.
9. What is your nation's definition of Nature?
Preliminary Wyrd. All of nature will eventually evolve into Wyrd.
10. Will your nation tolerate the existence of Nature?
It's part of the Wyrd. Why not?
11. Will your nation tolerate the existence of the undead?
As much as anything else that isn't directly in service to the Wyrd.
12. Which nation has given yours the most reason to oppose them? Why? (Briefly)
Serenwilde. They seek to destroy us, so we take the required steps to secure the power of the Wyrd. They'll come to see the beauty of the Wyrd sooner or later, so no point in completely destroying them.
13. Is there any nation with which you have little to no disagreement? If so, which?
Nope. They're all misguided concerning the Wyrd, and only pretend to be tolerant of it when they need to use us for their own gain.
14. Are there any races which receive special treatment in your nation? Which and why? (Briefly)
Shadow faelings, maybe. They have a part of the Fae and Mother Night in them, after all. In any case, individual races mean little in comparison to the glory of Glomdoring.
15. Does your nation believe individual freedom is more important than collective responsibility and duty?
No. You do what you can to strengthen the Wyrd as long as you are able, and then you are disposed of.
16. Does your nation believe that its people or its physical and planar areas have more influence on its culture?
Since its people live their lives based on the teachings of Night/Crow, there's little difference between the two.
17. Does your nation believe that their Guides (Cosmic/Elemental Lords and Great Spirits) are infallible?
Yes. The Great Spirits have goals without emotions, so they are never distracted.
18. Does your nation believe that their Guides should override their mortal leadership?
If the mortal leadership is in conflict with Night/Crow, then the mortal leadership is doing something to hurt the Glomdoring. They should be removed instantly.
19. Does your nation seek expansion and conquest? (Not counting swaying villages)
Yes.
20. Finally, list three to five core beliefs unique to your nation alone that do not reference individual entities. (Not "we follow White Hart" for instance).
1. The individual is always second to the commune.
2. The end always justifies the means when empowering the Wyrd.
3. Don't reveal the power of the Wyrd to others. Those who truly belong will realize the perfection of the Wyrd on their own.
4 and 5 are basically 1. You don't exist; the Glomdoring exists.

Poor Prax is young and learning that she doesn't seem to have the same ideas as everyone else in Celest wink.gif
Needless to say she's still trying to find her niche

1. What is your main character's nation?
New Celest
2. What is your nation's fundamental purpose? Use no more than one sentence.
To be a compassionate force in the basin, and see to the care of all the original creations of the Elder gods
3. What is your nation's definition of the Taint?
A corrupting force created by the souless gods
4. Will your nation tolerate the existence of Taint?
No
5. What is your nation's definition of the Light?
A creation of the half-formed gods of celestia, and generally a force for good
6. Will your nation tolerate the existence of the Light?
Yes
7. What is your nation's definition of the Wyrd?
A creation of the taint and so of the souless gods, it is at best taint kin and is not of the original creations of the elder gods
8. Will your nation tolerate the existence of the Wyrd?
No
9. What is your nation's definition of Nature?
All of the original creations of the elder gods before the war with the souless gods
10. Will your nation tolerate the existence of Nature?
Yes
11. Will your nation tolerate the existence of the undead?
No, they are also not of the elder gods original creations
12. Which nation has given yours the most reason to oppose them? Why? (Briefly)
Magnagora and Glomdoring as they are both a product of the souless gods
13. Is there any nation with which you have little to no disagreement? If so, which?
Serenwilde, we are as concerned about nature as anything else. We have so much in common it's rediculous, if we could both get over ourselves.
14. Are there any races which receive special treatment in your nation? Which and why? (Briefly)
Well the Merians do have the history, and the Viscanti are a product of the souless so they're unacceptable
15. Does your nation believe individual freedom is more important than collective responsibility and duty?
No, we do not succeed alone
16. Does your nation believe that its people or its physical and planar areas have more influence on its culture?
It's people, we contain the spark of the elder gods, or of their works I suppose with faelings I guess, within us and so we are the driving force in the basin.
17. Does your nation believe that their Guides (Cosmic/Elemental Lords and Great Spirits) are infallible?
Certainly not, nothing is infallible
18. Does your nation believe that their Guides should override their mortal leadership?
That is a case by case decision, but we as the decendants of the Elders bare the final responsibility
19. Does your nation seek expansion and conquest? (Not counting swaying villages)
I don't think so, we seek cooperation with others, and the extermination of all that the souless have created, we don't want to conquer them we want them obliterated
20. Finally, list three to five core beliefs unique to your nation alone that do not reference individual entities. (Not "we follow White Hart" for instance).
-Compassion should guide all our actions
-We must nurture and honour the divine spark that is entrusted to each of us
-The first world must be restored to it's original state before it's corruption by the souless

4. Will your nation tolerate the existence of Taint?

1. What is your main character's nation?
Magnagora
2. What is your nation's fundamental purpose? Use no more than one sentence.
To further the spread of the Taint to subjugate the entirety of the Basin.
3. What is your nation's definition of the Taint?
The remnants of Kethuru's touch on the Basin, although lacking His influence, it merely strengthens and empowers the strong while decimating the weak.
4. Will your nation tolerate the existence of Taint?
Absolutely.
5. What is your nation's definition of the Light?
A closed-minded group of bigots desperately trying to hang onto the fading dream of an Empire they have no claim to. By seeking to destroy the Taint, they stand to destroy their entire purpose for being.
6. Will your nation tolerate the existence of the Light?
Of course not, but in the meantime, we need some resistance.
7. What is your nation's definition of the Wyrd?
An altered, more organic version of the Taint that cannot be controlled by Magnagora.
8. Will your nation tolerate the existence of the Wyrd?
Eventually not.
9. What is your nation's definition of Nature?
The life that exists in the forests and other "natural" environments. I realize that is quite recursive, but it makes sense if you actually think about what that would entail.
10. Will your nation tolerate the existence of Nature?
Only if it is Tainted.
11. Will your nation tolerate the existence of the undead?
Being undead is a state superior to life, and an honor granted first by the Vernal God Urlach, but in more recent times, the Demon Lords of Nil. Thus, we will not only tolerate, we will extend it to the rest of the Basin. Whether they want it or not is their problem.
12. Which nation has given yours the most reason to oppose them? Why? (Briefly)
New Celest seeks to undo themselves by seeking to undo us. Without the Taint to combat, what will the Light do? Shine radiantly and dance around singing about how holy they are in comparison to themselves?
13. Is there any nation with which you have little to no disagreement? If so, which?
In theory, we should be allied with Glomdoring. In practice, not really.
14. Are there any races which receive special treatment in your nation? Which and why? (Briefly)
Viscanti are the dominant race, as they should be. Elfen and Merian are subjugated and shunned, as they should be. In a perfect world, Furrikin would be tortured in a public display of piety to Lady Nifilhema, but this does not happen as often as I would like. Aside from that, Magnagora is rather utilitarian about their racial system.
15. Does your nation believe individual freedom is more important than collective responsibility and duty?
Individual freedom leads to mindless snuggling and the like, which is not appropriate in public. Also, it tends to make people think that they can shirk off doing whatever while they go do something less important. If it does not further the city, Nil, or Taint as a whole, it should not be done.
16. Does your nation believe that its people or its physical and planar areas have more influence on its culture?
More the planar areas as an ideal, with people adding in the actual "physical" culture.
17. Does your nation believe that their Guides (Cosmic/Elemental Lords and Great Spirits) are infallible?
The Demon Lords are mostly concerned with their advancement. Supreme Master Luciphage and Lord Baalphegar are definitely infallible, while Lady Nifilhema doesn't concern herself with much outside of pain, and Lord Ashtorath will often throw himself into a rage, making him unreliable. Lord Gorgulu, naturally, cannot truly be commented on, although I will say that he is the pinnacle of infallibility, given that he is nothing but ambition and hunger with no pesky things like "regard for life" to sway his judgement.
18. Does your nation believe that their Guides should override their mortal leadership?
If any of the Demon Lords issued a proclamation, I expect it would be followed without hesitation, if only by certain members of the populace who sought to gain brownie points with the city leadership.
19. Does your nation seek expansion and conquest? (Not counting swaying villages)
Naturally.
20. Finally, list three to five core beliefs unique to your nation alone that do not reference individual entities. (Not "we follow White Hart" for instance).
The Taint is the driving force behind evolution, transformation, and ultimately power.
Since the Viscanti are amalgamations of all races with the blessing of the Taint, they are obviously the superior race.
Undeath is a blessing, it should be embraced.
Ambition is not to be set aside for anything.
If there was no Taint, there would be no Light. Celest fails to realize this.

1. What is your main character's nation?
Serenwilde
2. What is your nation's fundamental purpose? Use no more than one sentence.
To protect nature and it's spirits, working towards the healing of any corrupted lands.
3. What is your nation's definition of the Taint?
A corruption brought about by Ketheru which twists and corrodes all it touches
4. Will your nation tolerate the existence of Taint?
We'd like to cleanse the Basin of the Taint
5. What is your nation's definition of the Light?
A blind philosophy, a Taint of the mind.
6. Will your nation tolerate the existence of the Light?
Moreso than we will tolerate the Taint, though we must remember that the Taint was born of the Light
7. What is your nation's definition of the Wyrd?
A twisting of nature come about through a series of events including Tainting and attempts at cleansing by Elders

The way things should be
10. Will your nation tolerate the existence of Nature?
Of course
11. Will your nation tolerate the existence of the undead?
No
12. Which nation has given yours the most reason to oppose them? Why? (Briefly)
Glomdoring. Their harming of the fae and twisting of nature is an affront to Serenwilde
13. Is there any nation with which you have little to no disagreement? If so, which?
We disagree with all other nations and each have given us cause to take up arms against them
14. Are there any races which receive special treatment in your nation? Which and why? (Briefly)
Viscanti are frowned upon and banned by most if not all guilds. Faelings and Elfen are seen as especially inherent in Serenwilde's history, though all natural races are welcomed.
15. Does your nation believe individual freedom is more important than collective responsibility and duty?
Individual freedoms are seen as important so long as they do not impact badly on the freedoms of others and the overall goals of Serenwilde
16. Does your nation believe that its people or its physical and planar areas have more influence on its culture?
Physical and Ethereal are close to if not equally important. The Ethereal is seen as more important by the Moondancers
17. Does your nation believe that their Guides (Cosmic/Elemental Lords and Great Spirits) are infallible?

18. Does your nation believe that their Guides should override their mortal leadership?
Yes
19. Does your nation seek expansion and conquest? (Not counting swaying villages)
Not so much expansion but a spreading of the natural order
20. Finally, list three to five core beliefs unique to your nation alone that do not reference individual entities. (Not "we follow White Hart" for instance).
Freedom
Responsibility
Duty
Sacrafice

Here is how Aerenna viewed Serenwilde and other orgs. So it was more about her views than the commune's views, although she thought the rest of the commune shares the views, or at least SHOULD.

1. What is your main character's nation?
Serenwilde

2. What is your nation's fundamental purpose? Use no more than one sentence.
Making the lands outside the Basin habitable again.

3. What is your nation's definition of the Taint?
A twisting, malevolent force.

4. Will your nation tolerate the existence of Taint?
No.

5. What is your nation's definition of the Light?
Just a term, used as an excuse for Celest's actions.

6. Will your nation tolerate the existence of the Light?
No.

7. What is your nation's definition of the Wyrd?
Taint.

8. Will your nation tolerate the existence of the Wyrd?
No.

9. What is your nation's definition of Nature?
Everything which isn't Tainted or covered by a civilised structure.

10. Will your nation tolerate the existence of Nature?
Being dedicated to the Nature, there really aren't any options.

11. Will your nation tolerate the existence of the undead?
No.

12. Which nation has given yours the most reason to oppose them? Why? (Briefly)
Magnagora, as it had the strongest anti-Nature influence in it. Glomdoring was considered too weak and self-conflicted to be a real danger.

13. Is there any nation with which you have little to no disagreement? If so, which?
No.

14. Are there any races which receive special treatment in your nation? Which and why? (Briefly)
No, although the Moondancers tried to consider Faelings special due to their affinity with the Fae. It wasn't commune-specific though.

15. Does your nation believe individual freedom is more important than collective responsibility and duty?
No.

16. Does your nation believe that its people or its physical and planar areas have more influence on its culture?
Its areas, I believe. Although the people mattered too.

17. Does your nation believe that their Guides (Cosmic/Elemental Lords and Great Spirits) are infallible?
Aerenna believed that the "stupid" part of the commune believed yes, the "smart" believed no. Being Shards, mortals had the same potential for greatness as other, more powerful beings, so they shouldn't trust them blindly.

18. Does your nation believe that their Guides should override their mortal leadership?
As above.

19. Does your nation seek expansion and conquest? (Not counting swaying villages)
Yes.

20. Finally, list three to five core beliefs unique to your nation alone that do not reference individual entities. (Not "we follow White Hart" for instance).
We are the only righteous ones - Glomdoring and the cities are dangerous.
Everyone should donate to the greater cause, but in the way they can - a scholar doesn't have to fight, but can, and should, write books.
United, we are stronger than the sum of parts. BUT, everyone should try to get stronger on their own.
And finally, loud-mouthed pacifists are bad.

1. What is your main character's nation?
Serenwilde
2. What is your nation's fundamental purpose? Use no more than one sentence.
To heal the Basin of the scars of the Soulless and Civilization, and eventually move to healing the outside world.
3. What is your nation's definition of the Taint?
A disease by which Kethuru brought to the Basin, something that needs to be healed.
4. Will your nation tolerate the existence of Taint?
We used to not tolerate it at all, things changed and we needed their trade.
5. What is your nation's definition of the Light?
Teachings of idiot half-formed that think what they do to Nature is right when they change it.
6. Will your nation tolerate the existence of the Light?
We used to tolerate it, then we didn't, now we're iffy.
7. What is your nation's definition of the Wyrd?
Changed Taint. Still Taint, and in some cases, worse than Taint.
8. Will your nation tolerate the existence of the Wyrd?
No, we will not.
9. What is your nation's definition of Nature?
The natural way of things, cycle of life and death, growth and rebirth. Something worth caring for and protecting.
10. Will your nation tolerate the existence of Nature?
Yes.
11. Will your nation tolerate the existence of the undead?
No, we do not. Undeath is a break in the natural cycle.
12. Which nation has given yours the most reason to oppose them? Why? (Briefly)
Glomdoring, for their attacks on the Fae and general attitude towards Nature, Fae and their forest.
13. Is there any nation with which you have little to no disagreement? If so, which?
Currently, Magnagora. Why? We need to trade.
14. Are there any races which receive special treatment in your nation? Which and why? (Briefly)
Elfen for their deep connection to the two Great Spirits Moon and Stag, also if you want to count Faelings for their connections to the Fae.
15. Does your nation believe individual freedom is more important than collective responsibility and duty?
Yes and no. We have in the past gone with individual freedoms but it tends to just get the Commune on a whole in trouble, it's more of becoming you can do what you want as long as you don't hurt the Serenwilde in the process.
16. Does your nation believe that its people or its physical and planar areas have more influence on its culture?
Physical and planar areas actually, we'd not be who we are now without the forest, Fae and Great Spirits.
17. Does your nation believe that their Guides (Cosmic/Elemental Lords and Great Spirits) are infallible?
Yes, when White Hart and Moon speak, we listen.
18. Does your nation believe that their Guides should override their mortal leadership?
Yes, a good majority of the time.
19. Does your nation seek expansion and conquest? (Not counting swaying villages)
In a way yes, mostly because it would stop Civilization. Though we would not force forest in land it should never be.
20. Finally, list three to five core beliefs unique to your nation alone that do not reference individual entities. (Not "we follow White Hart" for instance).
The Sacrifice, Respect the Anscestors, The Great Spirits are their own beings.
