Aison. Eye-son, or Aa-son. Personal preference, I said it either way. Mostly like Eye-son.

Fae-theer. You guys all know how to pronounce Fae, hopefully.
I love my Hebrew, I can say Tz fine. It's pronounced a bit more like Tsz, though.
I always pronounced it like Sol. As in the star. Is that right?

Exactly, but, as you've said, it's difficult.
That said, my post is officially redundant.

Fae = Fay, like May with an F right? That's how I've always said it, so if not... I'll feel silly!
And Sol sounds like Bowl sounds like Roll sounds like Toll sounds like Soul.
Fionn2007-01-26 21:19:49
Fionn = FYOON

Depends on how you say 'Sol'. To me, Sol is exactly right.

I wish we could all post a little sound file in which we actually say the names so everyone will know for sure exactly how they're supposed to be.
Unknown2007-01-26 22:19:19
Have you ever heard anyone say "Doll" with a standard english accent? That's how I pronounce Soll. Short O.

I'm sure thats how I say it
Soll like doll, or Sol the star.
Arix2007-01-26 22:28:16
the Lusternian pronunciation of Arix is Air-eeh. Everywhere else it's just the way it looks. This is due to Lusternia being the only place where someone has asked me how the name was pronounced, and so I gave it a non-obvious pronunciation. Which is ok, since I can just assume people are saying it right

It's how I pronounce everything that's not part of Glomdoring.
Frilly and useless, damn it.
