I say... either Thee-oh-mar, or Thay-oh-mar. I vote for the second option, because that's how I'd naturally pronounce it.

Bowl and Sowl don't rhyme though! Bowl = B+Ol. Sol = S+Ol. Sowl makes more of a Bowel sound tongue.gif

No. You are giving Sol a 'long' o sound, like in 'no' or 'so' ... Sol is not 'so' with an l attached. Not pronounced like Soul, and definitely not bowl. Short o. Sol.
