Kleez.

Some other people have it as Clyz but it was decided they were wrong. And you tried to make it two syllables for some reason but we unanimously rejected that.

I didn't think it's possible to pronounce my name wrong, but after listening to Forren do it incorrectly on Skype:

sham (long a like the first a in "mafia") - ahh - rah.
Unknown2007-01-29 12:06:31
I always prounced sham as in "you're a dirty ram".

Where does the emphasis go, though? It makes most sense on the second, but some people (i.e Forren) keep putting it on the first. Also you two should skype me sometime.

Shamarah, your sig reminds me of this webcomic I saw...this girl who got this new sword, and some guy says, "What's the description?" She reads, "Another mother f---ing sword." Then you see this woman at a computer and a guy behind her with a huge stack of papers saying "Here's a whole bunch more items for you to describe!" happy.gif wish I could find that cartoon...

The first one. It sounds stupid on the second one. (This is, of course, assuming that emphasis is what I think it is. I could well be wrong.)

*You probably are, if it sounds stupid on the second one. When you and Forren skype I'll show ya. tongue.gif

EDIT: ed so the sentence makes sense.
Shamarah2007-01-29 12:17:59
Oh, I don't really use skype, my microphone's broken. I just remember it from the war trial.

Just call him Charizard or Charmander like the rest of us. Char Char!

wub.gif As soon as I read that, I pictured a little Charmander with antlers and a bow and arrow! >D So adorable.

The root valerian. tongue.gif Play Achaea/Aetolia sometime.

It's a plant in real life, too, though the real one and the Aetolia/Achaea one do not resemble one another in any real way.

Make an 'o' shape with your mouth. Hold it like that. No lip movement -at all-. Try and say 'row'. You should be flicking your tongue. Once you got that, it's 'Reen' the same way, then 'gee'!

Rinji!

....And Rinji is a guy, plz.
Saran2007-01-30 09:37:19
Meh Sah-rahn is probably close (Ma-lak for the liger)

I'm guessing Rinji is similar to Heero(gundam wing) in pronounciation?
Arkzrael2007-01-30 10:14:06
Yeah, name pronunciation.

I keep getting people pronouncing it 'Ar-zrakel' (obviously can't read) or giving up all together. So say it with me now...

ARK-ZRAY-ELLE

Or...give up and make the dog barkie noises everyone calls me. Ark, and Arkie.

Hmm...I had it two syllables. ARK-ZRAYL. I guess it's pretty similar though, just depends on if you emphasise the third syllable or not.
Kharaen2007-01-30 10:24:00
KHA - RAY - YEN for my name.
Arkzrael2007-01-30 10:24:57
Yeah, three syllables...latinish, I think.

Anywho, if you see that name elsewhere outside of Lusty-ville...it's me.
Deviantart, etc.

It's a unique pre-Lusty name, and it's on everything.
Shiri2007-01-30 10:30:41
Wish I could say that about Shiri...people keep stealing it. Like some actresses for their RL names.

I have to start using Azurashiri for some things (or even Nejii) but I'd much rather not. sad.gif
