wierd, doesn't seem very viral... its hard to notice/recognize on someone's page.

Well, look at it this way, if this facebook presence does succeed in drawing in more players and expanding our playerbase, that'd give us more reason to expand and open up ... well, you can guess what we could open up ...

Cruel temptress.

I went and added the application, even though I hate applications. Its very subdued, very compact.

Yeah, it's a pretty innocuous application right now, all things considered. Basically, it'll send a newsfeed when you make a level or win a guild election or gain an honour, etc. One may imagine your friends may get curious enough to check out what it's about.

Does it not work for Wargames? I signed up and I won a Wargames event and it didn't post.

It might only have a % chance of posting something to the news feed, rather than every time you win an event.

My character just beheaded a character named Arel. It wasn't all that exciting, really, as Arel is made out of crystal.

Try cutting into thinner slices next time. If you get down to about 30 microns, you can use cross polarized light to determine the mineral composition of the crystal.

So we can count the rings on your neck to find out how old you are?

Hm. That would imply that the older a Lucidian is, the more big-boned they are.

I'm relieved to find out it's just natural aging and not all that kephera cheesecake that is making my robes tight around the waist.

Yeah, sure, Estarra. It might bring in more players. But at what cost?

I'll tell you the cost. Oblivion.

Could we get a little app box showing our character summary (only for our main, I guess) from the website to stick somewhere on our profile? Picture, level, name/title, realm, etc. would be kinda cool to show off, and would make it easy to identify each other in that scary real world!

Myspace is far superior when compared to Facebook.

Applications don't even compare to the sheer hideousness that is Myspace.

QFT. If I want to test someone for epilepsy, I'll send them to a MySpace profile.
