Yes. There's just something about the albino colourings that touch one of those halls of thought in her, as well as she finds some comfort with how, at least most, albinos have the sight issues - it's like a bit of something she can empathize with.

While I have yet to settle on most details, such as guild and race and name, my character will most likely be one of the insectoid races...I sort of want a praying-mantis type character, the type that would eat their young and mate if it came to it (your choice, literally or in the abstract).
