New what would Narsrim do banner, anyone?

Forgot to add my belated congrats. So yay for Soll! Good luck as a god.
And I felt bad cuz I couldn't really help out with defending Kaervas. Sorry about that.

We really do need another Tainted Divine, just to keep things interesting. I mean, active wise, we currently have: Anti Taint: Ayridion, Charune, Elostian, Terentia. Taint: Viravain and... I'm unsure of Fain and Morgfyre's real level of activity. I know one of them pops up now and again to disfavour or sizzle someone... But still. I'm probably the least likely to advocate such things, but it would keep things all nice and stirred up.
Unknown2007-01-30 03:42:17
Morgfyre is quite active as far as I'm aware, less sure about Fain. I do agree that more tainted gods would be nice, but I think that sentiment coming from this side would be obvious.
Cairam2007-01-30 03:44:48
I want to see a god that is completely and utterly insane, in a fun way, and sometimes in a scary way, like... Like... Wait... That's Estarra, isn't it?

Er.. Viravain is so not "Tainted". There aare more than two sides.

Nor are Fain and Morgfyre, but they're on the side of it, as is Viravain.

No she isn't. Now, we aren't talking about the whole Wyrd/Taint stuff. But even if the Wyrd is unequivocably taint, and ingame, there is no question about it whatsoever, neither Viravain nor Glomdoring consider it Taint, so how could she be on the side of Taint? Viravain is for the Wyrd/Glomdoring, while the Taint as it has been represented by Magnagora doesn't factor into anything near Glomdoring's belief systems.
The ideologies are much different.

The administration has made it clear that the Taint/Wyrd thing is supposed to be ambiguous. So you really can't declare Viravain on the side of it. Maybe bias IC Serens can. But this is OOC, where we all know that no one has the answer.

That's not what your original post addressed, though. You were saying that she's not Tainted at all (which is valid when worded that way). Either you're guilty of the opposite bias, which is why I stated what I did as I did, or you're talking about something totally different, because Linwe mentioned Fain too and He's not Tainted either.

I assumed, by Tainted, she meant Taint Supporting.. which is why I put Tainted in quotes. So, it was what my original post addressed, it just could have been put better, I admit.
And no, i'm not guilty of the opposite bias. When the argument is between Apples, Oranges, and Wyrd.. by saying something isn't oranges, you aren't saying that its Apples. In this case, Viravain is neither Apples or Oranges, until it is revealed that Wyrd is actually an Orange in disguise. But, until that time, Wyrd gets its own classification.

No offense to Amarysse, but she would have died every few minutes on astral, easily, from two eyeball attacks.
You do realize she was level 60 and I think had trans acrobatics, right?
Genevieve2007-01-30 05:39:33
Elostian is not anti-Taint! Why do people think that? He would let any sufficiently worth Tainted join his order, if said person wouldn't be outcast from Magnagoran society. He's also not a true pacifist.

Well, I know there is a statue in Magnagora that is tuned against members of Elostian's Order...
Also, I think the reason people think he is anti-Taint because he's one of Celest's Divines.
Genevieve2007-01-30 07:09:18
Just because Magnagora is anti-Elostian doesn't make him anti-Taint.
Rika2007-01-30 07:17:12
Sorry, should have been clearer. My first comment was refering to the part about letting Magnagorans into the order if they wouldn't be outcast from Magnagoran society. And the second comment was about why people might see Elostian as anti-Taint.

Well that wouldn't make much difference. I mean, Richter gave up (And I assume he's above 60), everybody kept on dying to eyeballs and blobs, so even at that level, I think it would be 2 hits.
Of course, its null void because she had the symbol so could have pwned the mobs but who knows.

"Gave up"? Which part are you referring to here? Richter didn't have a seal.

Belated congratulations to Soll, and to the other participants, also - it was a close race.
Regarding Godhood, so far, so good, and I would like to think that once the initial skepticism and steep learning curve are dealt with, things will progress fairly smoothly. Best of luck.
