Aww, you're not useless. Even just showing up on GWHO and CWHO helps a bunch for morale, especially for Glomdoring. I get so happy when I see more than 5 Shadowdancers and more than 10 Glomdorians. And don't worry, I can't fight either, and all I can do is to be a meat shield. But I like to think that I'm useful.
thanks, helps to hear that. from someone else in Glomdoring.

I like the fact that Caerulo -doesn't- think Night is tainted. Don't ask him why though, he still hasn't worked out exactly why.
I like that Caerulo respects Sun, because he's the only one who can chase Night.

Lucan would totally agree with you. He believes that Night and Crow aren't tainted by themselves, but by the people who manipulate them for their own selfish purposes. He feels that everyone thinks that Crow and Night are tainted because they don't understand those particular spirits, and he feels close to them because he himself is quite misunderstood.

I like Arix because of the shocking variety of things he has managed to get away with that nobody knows about
.....That you revealed to everyone at the Megalith?
Arix2007-02-02 10:26:39
no, different things. Although those would be part of the shocking variety of things I got away with, period
Saklas2007-02-02 12:01:29
Family, easily. Without the d'Murani background, Saklas could not be as much of a self-centered jerk as I want to play her as.
So, yeah. That's why she's awesome.

I would really love for Lucan to become someone great in the Ebonguard, but with all of the already great people there, I just can't see it happening. I wanted to start a tribe for crafters/tradesmen, but all that could really be done with it is give people a place to peddle their wares and others a place to come for wares. If anyone has any ideas about how that idea could be expanded upon, let me know. I'm pretty much useless to the Ebonguard right now because I can't fight for crap.
Come talk to me in game Lucan, I've got big plans with the Ebonguard non-combat wise

Edit: I re-read Veo's post and have to piggyback on one aspect. Ixion get to be certain things that I refuse to be oocly- mostly, being a harsh, snippy, mean person

Gehn2007-02-03 03:13:37
Gehn is special to me because he's different from any character I've ever played. All past characters on other games have been different things: old, mature, insane, bitter, wise, female
Gehn is the first character I've really gotten into that is young, immature, free-spirited. (Yea! He acts silly because I want to RP him that way, not cause I'm some silly punk )
So that's why I like Gehn. He's not a grumpy, bitter, sagely old lady like other characters I've played

I really enjoy playing Alianna (and Shaddai!) because they bring out a really social and humorous side in me. If anyone saw me acting like I usually do in-game, they'd think I was probably smoking something.
I created Ali with the idea of roleplaying a simple, innocent Cantor girl. For some reason, I got swept in the tide and went back to good old Serenwilde. Every bit of innocence left her when she turned undead, and now we've both got a complete obsession for wanting to get shops, and simultaneously harvesting until our vertebrae bleed to supply said shops.

Aison2007-02-03 03:56:12
I like my character because she is incredibly unlike me. She's nosy, curious as heck, a lot cuter than me, and most of all, she is different.
My last character in another IRE game was of a popular race, and of course she was very beautiful and kind and gentle... she got boring, fast. Everyone liked her, a lot of people proposed to her ( ) , it was very easy for her to make friends, etc..
While on the other hand, Aison is not what one would consider beautiful. She is a nice person, yes, but what makes her unique is that she is loyal. She's not looking just for friendships, she is looking for lifetime companionships. She's silly, albeit not as dense as she may come off. She has layers to her personality that I just love to play around with. I have never had so much putting a character of mine into weird situations and actually thinking, "I wonder how she would act in this situation." Will she go crazy? Will she play it cool? Will she turn dramatic and bawl? It's very fun developing this character, and it gets easier every day as she develops more and more of her personality.

Valarien2007-02-03 10:36:42
Valarien, I adore him, he's such a complex mix of emotions and thoughts that it's borderline hilarious to me. He's such a mental hodgepodge that it's amusing it doesn't come out in my RP a bit more often, I suppose certain things just never come up. Take for instance his insane bond to his sister, Aranya. Deep down, Valarien doesn't feel like he can function fully without her around, as they're two halves of the same spirit. Nowadays, whenever somebody brings her up he gets rather quiet and refuses to speak, and will usually blow out some excuse to leave. Other things that don't come out so much; his infatuation with death and dying in order to be reborn, his utter weakness against certain females, or maybe his strange fascination with jewelry.
More obvious roleplay tendencies are his fanatical devotion to Viravain, Glomdoring, and (Even though some people seem to think otherwise) Mother Night. Val was a Blacktalon for a while, but he'll always be SD at heart.
Another thing I adore about Val is, despite the position he may ever hold and his tendency to come off as broody and reserved, he can still goof around and relax a bit with some people. His thoughts being that while appearance means much, one can't lose their true self in the process.
Not to mention my family/potential family are the best bunch of people I've ever dealt with. The Moonbane line, though there are only... four of us maybe, are amazing. We'll grow and overtake you lot, I promise.
Mechanics-wise I love my beautiful human stats, and how each day brings me closer to that damned Titan.

Tamarian, I'll be sure to bug you next time I'm online.
I really like hearing from other Gloms and the Mags. I like how the "evil" places in this game aren't emo *coughAetoliacough*. Granted, there are emo people in those places, but it seems fairly even, unlike other games I've played *coughAetoliacough* where the entire evil population was emo. Very frustrating. I think some other things I like about Lucan are that he is supposed to be strong and fearsome, but he can't kill anyone for crap. He's realizing that the Dracnari in his old village he slew were just IMMENSELY weak and only ACTED like they were big, tough, scary guys. It's very hard on his pride, as a lot of it stems from the fact that he slew three of his monstrous village mates when he was only 12. (This is also where a lot of his self-loathing and believing himself to be a monster stems from.
I also like that he has become almost obsessed with his forging. I need people to ask for forging more...I also need to save up for a forge in his daddy's (or grandma's) manse.
And Ixion, shush. Some of us aren't even level 40 yet.

Emo evil.
Yeah, Mhaldor's kind of like the militant version of emo. I made an alt there and every time I looked at someone they were pale, ghastly, much too thin, and had blood on various areas of their bodies. Comical if nothing else.
And one of their divine's first words was, "AIIYEEEE!"

exactly!! OOH! NEW SMILIES!! *cough* short attention span aside, Aetolian evil is even more emo than Achaean because the Aetolians actually have vampires and people whose soul purpose in the guild is to cut themselves. Maybe not quite, but still!!
And Daganev made my day! I came home sick from work and saw him online, told him about my idea for the tribe and he liked it!! WEE!!!
Arel2007-02-04 10:10:09
I like that Lucan has a strong basis for his RP. Arel didn't have nearly that much when I started out with him. He was just kinda that quiet, scholarly Nihilist.
Sylphas2007-02-04 10:18:47
I love Sylphas because he's the first character that is actually more than just me in the game world. We're similar, and I don't keep the seperation as much as I should, but it's nice when he does something that I wouldn't. He drinks and gambles when he gets depressed or upset, for example, and will knowingly show off and clown around if no one is paying attention to him, or when his routine is disrupted.

I love that Faethyr is perfectly happy just wandering around, looking at what the world has to offer. This is even better now he's a rogue, as he has much more free reign.
I love that Faethyr quite naïvely believes that the Taint is just superficial, and they all have a nice core. Yes, he has yet to meet Murphy, Ixion, Daevos etc.
I love that Faethyr is so passionately about not slaughetering everything that comes his way that it gradually drove him to leave behind everything that he knew and loved, and become a rogue.
I love that, while he can be very deep and calm, Faethyr is quite fiery inside, and will make reckless remarks or get very angry at times.
