Yes, it's a priest skill. It was around the time that Deucalion and Aurora released the Codex that the Church still uses, I believe.

I wish I didn't make Othero so quiet. It causes me to let things pass by just because I feel Othero wouldn't say anything.

Isn't that the same Codex from years ago? I thought that it was called the Codex of Light before...at least it's the old Codex that is still on Achaea's website.

Wish I never became a Kalas.
There's nothing wrong with being a Kalas!!
I wish I never scolded a certain novice who was probably telling the truth, but I deicided to listen to a... highly annoying ... person I thought I could trust.
Diamondais2007-02-06 01:16:35
Wish I had made Dyla appear stronger and not so shy or reserved. It'd make a lot of things easier right now, and I wouldn't have to pull what I'm working on now.
And I agree with Reiha, nothing wrong with Kalas. I just wish I could've been adopted into the Mes'ard's first instead of just wearing the name and not even being able to actually be one.

I could only think of one thing that I maybe wish I'd done that I hadn't.
As perverse as it sounds I wish I had been a Disciple of Crow in open beta.

Wish I had sacrificed Joiya instead of rescuing her . Slimy fishies... I'd do it now but I don't want to be known as somebody who plays both sides of the conflict in quests.

QUOTE(Cuber @ Feb 5 2007, 11:18 AM) 380755
And that is what I wish I didn't do. I should've roleplayed a fanatical anti-Taint (pfft, Wyrd - just a name) person with a head up her arse, and simply refuse to accept Glomdoring's terms. NO MATTER WHAT. Thus, probably ruining an administration-planned RP event and angering one or more of the following: Lisaera, Viravain, Nejii, White Hart (should he be raised eventually, one way or the other), leaders of any related guilds.
I don't know if you remember, but that was basically the stance of Serenwilde the second time around, and it made for a very strained and poorly played event that the admin felt compelled (for understandable reasons) to railroad through the system anyways.
Things I wish I did:
Broke up with Shayle earlier. (no malice intended--she'll understand why if she sees this)
Played the Celestian mole role I tried to set up for Xavius better. (Death to Nyla--messed up my guild for an OOC year and my planned character development!)
Spoke up when old Vira arbitrarily ordered the replacement of Emar.
Tried to publically reinterpret the regime's interpretation of ancient Vira's old posts about what it means to live in Glomdoring and turn aside the isolationism culture before it was deeply ingrained.
Gave more credit where credit was due. (Poor Yeralih)
Things I wish I didn't do:
Accepted GM of the Blacktalon when I was starting to play less.
Moved my alt out of the Harbingers instead of digging in, being a heartless bastard to those who earn it, and driving Daedalion into an emorific spiral out of the game.
Attacked a no-name novice Geomancer (can't remember if it was Ravin or Revan anymore) who grew up incredibly angry, trained hard, and drove Celest into the ground with an overpowered demesne.

I wish I hadn't given Josun those 800 credits for a pet that I never saw... I got a huge manse out of it, though.

No regrets really. The less than pleasant things in Ix's life he sees ultimately as an asset, for character or otherwise.
If I had to name one thing I should have done differently, it would be regarding the Eye of Dynara and RP what I had planned out belatedly with it. I think about how that might have turned out all the time.

The old Codex is called the Holy Codex of Achaea.
The new Codex is referred to as The Codex of Light.

They're books written by the Divine, in which the basic tenets of Achaean Good is laid out.
And I think the old Codex was better. The new one doesn't really feel like it was written by a group of Gods.

I don't really understand why they didn't realise that shorter is better for things like that. The Truths are much better in that regard.

So has the church over there turned into a bunch of peace loving pansies now? I remember the good ol' days, when the church had shrines, not the gods, and Ashtan accused us of using them as WMD, and the Druids and Sentinels got mad at us for leading animals to the sacrifice.
