I believe that OOC clans can exist, but shouldn't get extra treatment. It's fine that there is one, if people who belong to it don't mind that it's OOC, but they shouldn't get angry when people use OOCly acquired info ICly, or get punished for things said on an OOC clan, etc. Or rather they can get angry, and probably will, but Lusternia shouldn't have rule...

And yes, OOC clans are more handy than IRQ/CCT/MSGNT/whatever. Not that I ever used any.

I think the divine do a pretty good job currently on separating the OOC from the IC and ignoring the OOC. Whenever I talked to a Mag in an OOC fashion, Terentia never came down on me for rubbing elbows with the enemy, for instance. Sometimes though it may be hard to tell with so many conversations going on, and when a mistake is made and something like what happened happens, well, no special treatment and no apologies.
