Ok.. a few questions..

When you shake a box that has one attached, does the item go into your inventory, or onto the ground?

Can you shake a box that's on the ground so that the item will fall out on the ground rather than into your inventory?

Does it give a message to everyone around showing what item fell out of the box and into your inventory if that's where it goes?

Only items you put into it, as far as I know.

The rune makes the box magic. You put some things into it. When you shake it, one of those things comes out at random. You cannot choose what it is.

Its just like the top hat in achaea, if you've ever seen one of those.

Also, don't put a lock on the box. The rune sort of makes locks disappear and reappear in strange ways. The first time I shook my box an "unspecified object" fell out and the lock had poofed.

Top hats beat the hell out of shaking a box, for flavor.

My manse safe did something odd like that the other day, it had an unspecified object in it, which had something to do with the lock, admins had to fix it.



Except runes are better than single artifacts, since you can make all kinds of boxes into an artifact.

Don't try to put gold into it either. I put in 100k once and was horrified when I tried to shake.. and shake.. and shake and it didn't come out anymore

In Achaea, my hat is the only thing that hasn't decayed. I keep all my gold in it, and since it's the only thing in there, it's just like a nondecay pack.

Also, it used to be fun when I was a jester to fill it with puppets, and randomly screw with whoever popped out.
