It comes off a little childish to me as well. No matter the circumstances or my personal views on them, if you are upset with how things are, you are (were) in a wonderful position to help change them, or in the very least, give input to those in a better position to change them. You resigned to do what? Prove a point? If anything it has a slight reverse effect of what you intended.

How ridiculous.
I'd say it to his face if he was on AIM.
The fact remains that if something goes your way, simply resigning and then posting your resignation on the forums is the silliest and stupidest way to sort things out. Cutting off your nose to spite your face is inherently foolish.
As and when moderators moderate, it would be lovely if they'd leave a mark of it on their posts, so I can express my displeasure privately.
As it is, everyone and their dog will assume that I said something genuinely offensive. Which I didn't.

Shorlen's got so many things outside of the game that he needs to do right now. Stop pouncing on him.
Anarias2007-03-26 07:46:15
I get where he's coming from a bit. Its not like this is the first time that an envoy situation has been this aggravating. Its likely just the repeat of a pattern that he'd rather opt out of now.

Then he can maturely cite those as a reason for quitting, rather than implying that it entirely for envoy reasons.

Major kudos Estarra. The planar constructs that gives everyone in an org a way to get to the higher planes by their own means is so very sweet.

True, he does. I'll give him that, but when I spoke to him about why he quit he seemed like he was a few years younger than me rather than his actual age.

Yes, but the way he reacted to me in conversation which goes to insult one of the main Admin isn't the way to go.

Now I have no excuse not to hunt for the essence I draw down! I think it was a conspiracy between Nariah and Estarra to make me spend time killing grubs
I like it though, I don't have to rely on doing the drugs that the commune users call "spores" when in catacombs anymore to get to earth
Nariah2007-03-26 15:12:20
Lies!
But the idea to unravel the rifts from the Citadel so that you are forced to make your way through the mountains, slaying gargoyles, to get to the cave and then slay grubs; is all mine!

I think that this form of local area resurrection is kind of useless. :/ Though it's nice for Crow users, since we can bypass the downsides, it's not all that useful for Harbingers/Shadowdancers.

that was what I was thinking... Glomdoring had a low one...
Still, don't know which one sucked more, if Glomdoring's or Serenwilde's
