Serenwilde's is easily the best right now. BTW.

Seemingly so.

sorry we don't force our young to die to sacrifice everyone? and by young I mean the non fighters who often are sacrificing for everyone in celest. Good for them.

You don't. You let people like Lowe, Kalodan, and so on and so forth heartstop / get killed by someone else for the experience.

I still think that the Magnagoran Construct is better... Followed by Serenwilde and Celest and Glomdoring got shafted

what does it let you crow users do?

For 10p, we can put up our 10p def for free! spoton.gif

Oh, and get an upgraded vitae effect before Rebirth triggers.

Nice

I'm disappointed. It kinda just sounds like vitae to me, unless I'm missing key bits of information here.

There is supposedly a bit more, but by the sounds of it geared towards Crow users.
Arel2007-04-02 01:35:17
So whats the point of putting a bunch of power into it so Seren can knock it down when it just gives the rest of Glom a vitae power?

Uhh... spending 10p to raise a 10p defence for free isn't really geared to anybody. 10 = 10 + 0. happy.gif But it may get some modifications. I hope!

They all get modified after release.

I don't really get what you guys are saying. The DarkNest arguably offers a better version of lich so if you think the Magnagoran construct is good, then the Glomdoring's should even be better.

Only read the post once. But I remembered this

Except that most of the time, people don't know where they are going to die. So either you know, and you plan to die in a place and plant the egg properly ( which sort of defeats the purpose of planning I think), or you don't know, and it is the same as vitae, minus the suspect status.

You also have to make sure that you don't gather the egg on the 25th of the month.

I dunno why people complain about the Altar sucking. It may be that I'm a VERY biased Bard, but I <3 <3 <3 <3 it.

We may adjust the length the egg lasts.

Same as vitae? Hello! Egg rebirth circumvents the xp loss unlike vitae! That's not such a small difference.

Anyway, you don't have to plant the egg. You can designate to give it to an especially tanky comrade during raids or defending territories, or even designate a noncombatant to hold the egg and stay nearby. I can think of uses for it that would make it better than lich and certainly better than the so-called long range rezzs which have some hefty experience loss before the rezz takes place.

You don't have to plant the egg?

Then either carry it yourself for a lich-lite, or have a friend carry it for instant, free (10p back at the construct earlier), no-balance soul resurrection with no experience loss.

And what are the bonuses for Crow users?

ETA:@Xavius - so, basically, free for Crow users who were going to use their crowform? Not bad.

Also - and speaking as a non-Glomdoring citizen, I don't really see the problem in having the egg last, say, a year. A month is pretty short.

10p def for free if we spend the 10p to get an egg.

to be fair, if the egg lasts longer than 1 month, then you spend 10 power now, but save 90 power over your next 9 logins tongue.gif

The egg should probably last until you die, or until the construct gets destroyed.
