Help Topguilds does not work, so I'll ask here:

What does novice score, member score and vote rating all mean? How are all these scores tabulated?
Callus2007-02-18 14:25:47
I've reported that about six months ago. HELP TOPGUILDS has never existed, so why mention it in TOPGUILDS?

And yes, what do they all mean?

I think vote rating is the number of people who have voted for Lusternia in TMS in the past 12 hours or so.

I think novice score is the same as member score, but for novices. Novices aren't counted in member score (I think), but novice score counts twice for cultural activity.... or something.

But then that brings us the question of what is member score exactly.

For some reason the Cantors don't seem to be listed on topguilds at all.

The list seems to only be able to accomodate 11 or something...the bottom one is always missing.

The member score and novice score are basically calculating activity in your guild, how many people have played for how many hours.

Guild rank also has an effect.

I think there's a threshold below which a guild doesn't get listed, perhaps as a way to not start showing guilds that are being coded but not yet opened. Maybe some of the bard guilds have turned so moribund they keep falling below that some weaves.

If its calculated the same was as it is in Achaea then member skillranks, activity, and levels gained all factor into it as well.
