Just wanted to say I'm enjoying the little Isune-related event, even thought I don't know what the eventual outcome will be.

I'm assuming this might be Ayridion's first plot. If so, you're doing a great job! I just wanted to let you know that.

Wow, it gets better.

You did a good job. I especially liked the multi-part quest that wasn't too monolithic. You did well. And on that I won't say any more.

Glad you're enjoying it. smile.gif Thanks!

Crowned smilies fail at life.

I liked the fact we couldn't just kill the figures straight away. There was a moment of bewilderment when I realized I actually had to think this through. grin.gif

I did enjoy it, though I apparently missed the climax of the event as I was trying to find the last location for my sheet. Still, very well-done! Whether it's true or not, Amarysse will likely go on believing forever that a dream she had last month of Isune and Trillillial was somehow prophetic. smile.gif

My only complaint were the (very) few people lingering at the tomb afterwards, ordering people to calm down who were having (I thought) a civil conversation, sneering at those who came exploring, etc. It was rather off-putting that they believed themselves to suddenly be experts on Isune and Her realm, or that they had the authority to make such decisions.

What the...how come I missed this!? Someone explain IG. *uncrowned sad smiley*

Well, I posted something to the Wind. Go log in.
Shiri2007-02-19 02:20:27
I haven't woken up yet, I'll be there soon.
Genevieve2007-02-19 02:22:25
Would someone explain it here? No one I've talked to know anything and no one's posted anything. I've seen the tomb already though.
Unknown2007-02-19 02:25:05
I sort of have no idea what's going on too, but it's fun. And hurry up and get in here, Shiri!! (how do you post on the forums when you haven't even woken up yet?)

By posting when I'm more asleep than awake!

Yes, very nice job on the event! I really liked the thought and detail put into it, especially the way the sunset changed, how well written some of the clues were, and how well the scavenger hunt (which many people wanted to see happen again) was worked into the event. Big kudos!
Genevieve2007-02-19 02:37:12
Get in where? The tomb of Isune?

His entire being has permeated into the forums after two and a half years.

I missed most of it except for the very beginning when Ayridion flew up into the sky. That came off as neat to me. Good writing to whoever wrote it. (assuming it was Ayridion)

The really cool thing about it was the multiple quests.

First, paint specific landscapes and portraits.
Then, catch miniature eagles.
Then, chase and kill phantasms.
Then, use a special quest object to slay an otherwise unslayable beast, a "scavenger hunt", involving dropping something in multiple locations.

And all the themes were tied into it story-wise. Basically, Ayridion created a quest that was more or less "hunt the object", but it was done in a way that kept things interesting, changing and getting more difficult, and things were wrapped up in an afternoon. And he was there and involved directly, using room/world emotes to powerful effect.

At least this PHASE of the plot was wrapped up.

Well well done. goodjob.gif cheer.gif

I think the only nit to pick was the last quest was confusing, but I wasn't sure if the shrouds were bugged. The shrouds and seals weren't viewable with IH, for instance, which made it a bit weird.

Yeah, that's, umm, a normal part of questing.

Very interesting plot. I had a good time, even though I wasn't of much help. All those lessons I put into Arts paid off! Wee! Just wish I could have stayed for the rest of it. sleep.gif
