umm ran from her, talkan, nico, ishimoru, and mirin. So not ashamed of beating a hastey retreat. Just wish celest would come for people one vs one like marc tries to do, yes once in a while marc does gather a group and goes hunting, but generally he tries to fight one on one.
In all fairness, when you hit me at the aetherplex, I came back cause I thought it was gonna be a one on one. Boy was I surprised! (Please not this is not a snide comment or sarcastic. I have no problem with occasional random groupings. I do it myself at times )
Edit: Plus I figured I was going to die either way

I was a little suprised too. I had just finished duelling Gehn and he offered to kick me to remove the status, as is normal, and then all of serenwilde shows up. Crazy times. But a lot of fun and well worth it all

I say the same thing about other communities. Funny how perceptions are skewed depending on which community one lives in.
That is true, Geb does offer to fight you one on one..... Especially after you kill a couple of his fellow paladins >.>

This whole nonsense sounds to me like:
Hey! I'm bored. Entertain me! Here are some credits, go and kill and make me laugh.
Meh....grow up.

You say that like it's a bad thing...
Lusternia is a game, I suggest finding anything that is entertaining. If someone likes killing 10 people in a half hour, and Shamarah likes seeing it and paying for it, more power to both of them.
So long as I'm not one of those 10 people...

Of course he was mistaken. It's very obvious that Talkan doesn't take little people with him to fight and especially against someone who matters absolutely nothing to him like Marcalo. And, your sarcasm doesn't really make sense because Talkan often does charge in against dangerous odds, and more times than not comes out alive.
yep! Earlier today after me and Ixion squished Argilent. Talkan came running after me with Aison. We were sitting at Avechna's peak and then we just moved east waiting for them. I was gonna sit alone and be some bait so Ixion could defend without avechna, but Ixion came in and Talkan went straight for him instead. I was personally shocked cause I thought it was pretty suicidal. He and Aison both died to pretty much Ixion of course.

Serens fight like they're in the movies, i.e. sending one person at a time.
Strategy isn't really the word of the day for us.

course it isn't. It's hard for Serens to have a strategy when no one's leading them. Half the time I'm doing it and I'm not a good leader for one and two I can't even communicate to everyone at the same time unless they're in the room with me.

Except going around murdering people because of an OOC motivation (Shamarah offered you credits) is against the rules.

There is always an IC motivation to murder people - Lusternia is (as has been said many times before) a conflict game. This just adds something to that motivation.
Also, credits aren't inherently OOC, though I suppose you could make that case, since Shamarah offered them through an OOC channel.

We can both move back to Seren, and lead them to greatness! Of course, they won't let you in again easily. I'd have to run for Regent, then welcome you myself. Seren could bring the world to its knees!
Now that I've got that out of my system, the real problem isn't just that there aren't people who know how to lead, it's that there are very few Serens who are experienced in group combat (or one-on-one combat, for that matter) Hiriako and Shorlen are about the only ones that come to mind off of the top of my head. There are several people with quite a bit of skill, but few with enough experience to be effective leaders. So, they get raided and panic, unsure of what to do. My own skill isn't all that impressive either as a combatant, but I have enough experience that I can strategize a bit and lead other people.
I've thought of jumping in to help Seren, just for the fun of it, but I don't want to get enemied to Glom again. Would they enemy me for helping defend etherwilde?

Except I doubt anyone sets out to get ten kills in a row regularly... most people who jump people on the street just because "they're enemies" (Terrible justification anyway) are opportunistic and just jump when they both feel like it and know someone weaker than them (Generally, someone much weaker) is out on the road.

Diamante is an example of someone who kills ten people on a pretty regular basis lately - without even griefing in the process. He raids single-handedly and clears out a good deal of Serens at once.

He hasn't made any mention of the competition in game. Otherwise Aiakon might be interested enough to try.

I don't think that's even possible...Shamarah's challenge, that is.
For those people who said they're owed it, stop posturing. 3 minutes in between each death, 10 different people each time. I don't think I've ever seen anything of that extent. Right now, I think there are only two people capable of doing that. Diamante and Narsrim.
For one, only while raiding will you be able to kill people in that quick of a succession. Secondly, only Serenwilde currently is capable of fielding 10+ people during any given time and that all can be killed within 3 minutes of each other. Thirdly, those two both have the crowd control abilities that are necessary to face a force of 10+ people and perhaps win.
Warriors don't have a chance at this, not even Murphy with his hammers, nor Ixion with his omgwtfbbq swords. Remember Ixion, he said -solo-, which you really don't do.
Closest I've come is about 8 kills in a single solo raid on earth, but most of those kills were the same people, and there was too much time in between kills. So, it was perhaps 5 people over 15 minutes. Not even close, and that raid of mine was perhaps the best I've been able to do.

Pretty much, yeah.
Nico: It can be the same people, if they come back in time.
Verithrax: The only way this would ever be possible due to suspect limitations is if you're raiding off-prime. There's plenty of IC motivation to raid anyway, so you wouldn't be doing it for these credits, these are just for fun. Quit whining.
