Hey guys from Israel! I've been here for less than 24 hours, and... It's very different from the life I once knew, but Narses is being very supportive and helpful, along with his family, to help me feel more comfortable. Thank you all for your wishes of luck and support!

I'm glad things are working out so perfectly! : )

I'd write something but then I'd get emotional, and risk ruining my troll reputation.
...
Whatever!
Congrats, and best wishes on your life together.

Aww, thats so cute! Narses and I set it as the background for the computer, it makes the apartment more cozy. Alongside Tiras, our little corn-snake.
Also, Narses took me to have some falafel, and it's pretty good! If a bit oily, but that's okay, I won't live on the stuff.

You see, while the rest of the middle east was given Crude Oil under the ground, Israel was apprently given Pure Virgin Olive Oil above the ground, and therefore, all the food is full of oil and really oily. And don't worry, soon enough you will be living on the stuff, because it is so wonderfully cheap!

And bloody delicious, if made right.
Don't forget to try:
Pitta with darn everything in.
Matzah dumplings
Freshly squeezed pomegranate juice (I'm not sure if they have them where you are, but in Jerusalem at least, there's stalls with fruit-squeezers dotted all over the place.) It tastes so very very wonderful.
I nearly forgot: Take her to see Jerusalem, especially the Kotel! The great thing about Jerusalem, Cairam, is that all the buildings are faced with this sandy-yellow stone, so it looks really incredible.
And again, congrats and good luck!

The airport has the jerusleem stone on the walls when you come in from the terminal, its really nice.

Oh yes, I saw that. The Ben Gurion airport is really, really beautiful, in comparison with some of the other airports I've been to. There's also mosaics on the walls, I'm not sure if they were moved from somewhere else, they look fairly old.
I tried the pita with everything in it, when I had the falafel. It was pretty good, but for some reason I think it would taste better if the falafel was all mashed up inside, instead of left in little balls. But I'm a bit weird like that. The pomegranate juice sounds good. I had my first pomegranate last night, apparently in hebrew they're called - not sure of the spelling, so I'll put how it sounds - "Ree-mone". It was funny, I saw them in the little produce stand, and said to Narses, "Look! Pomegranates!"
And he was like, "What?"
"Pomegranates."
"Ah. No, those are called 'ree-mone'".
"RRREE-mone. Okay. But in English, they're called pomegranates."
We have the silliest conversations about the simplest things, really.

When I was in Israel I learned that Rimon is what you call a hand granade Actually Ilearned that in the U.S. but it was confirmed to me in Israel.
And your conversation reminds me of my typical conversations in Israel also. Welcome home.

I always enjoy hearing stories of love that transcends the internet and blossoms into something passionate and tangible in the real world through the various IRE games. They make me all warm and fuzzy inside and give me hope that one day I will find something just as amazing. Congratulations to you both and I wish you both all the warm fuzzies inside that you can handle and a lifetime of love.
Hey baby, how you doin'?
Oh and gratz Narses and Cairam!
