Thanks Ciaran!

I left 'cause I got lazy. Then Sion's clothes decayed, and then I'd figure I'd let him die off too so I could start anew.

I'm not really around because...of work. And Neopets. And GalaXseeds. And sometimes Puzzle Pirates. And soon, when my Wii comes in, Zelda: Twilight Princess.
Genevieve2007-03-12 19:53:31
I used to play puzzle pirates when it was still in Beta. That was a fun game, got monotonous though, once I hit the top lists for most of the puzzles (plus there were only the four puzzles back then).

Sounds like your problem equates to not having the self-motivation or drive to progress your character into what you want it to become.

I don't have any motivation to level beyond 47 right now because of that stupid Marani woman in the mountains, which is basically the only place I hunt. Not to mention that I can't keep a nest up for crap because I basically have to bash every single IRL day to keep it up. Besides, I lose it in a year after my totem bond dissolves anyway, so what's the point?? Maybe I should go night, but Lucan's RP follows Crow...I'm just really really frustrated with the whole nest deal...especially since each new one I build is ten power, then it's another freaking ten power to go into crow form...
Then venture out of the mountains. Check the Hunting Guide that Soll/Ayridion made in the Survival Guide section. Depending on what race you are, influencing in Tosha might work - that can still give you ~5-10% a monk by then. Hm...
Glomdoring's own creatures are bashable
Roads, roads, roads - pilgrims and cows
Inner Sea - sharks maybe
Maybe krokani?
Elemental planes if you can and are allowed
And...why do you have so much power reserves? I think I rarely had any until upper 50's-60s, but then again, mages generally require less power, especially when not using demesnes. But then again...you're a druid, so...
Diamondais2007-03-14 02:21:07
Lucan is a warrior.
And Druids aren't always so easy to tell on power. It depends on what skills you use. I could list off all the power skills I have and it'll seem as if I use huge amounts (Well, I use a fairly ouch amount at this time but it's from something else) but in reality I'll maybe use one or two of those skills.

I have issues motivating my character to do anything because really there is nothing worth doing. I am level 77 who 80 if i wanted it i could bash for a week straight and get it no big deal. Doing stuff in the guild...ha the guild is crazy right now, and i enjoy staying apart from most of it. City bah raiding and defending gets so old, and on top of that you lose motivation when you know you can raid a day and they can go on for weeks because they have more people. Just no motivation in lusternia right now unless you a novice and have no been playing a while. I been playing on and off different characters about 2 years maybe a little less and i have done most things in the game that motivate me in the game. so in conclusion lusty is boring and thas why people are leaving.

Unfortunately, your conclusion is wank for two reasons.
Firstly, lusty isn't boring - it's just that you find it so.
Secondly, people aren't leaving - at least, no more than usual.
Airees, you binge on Lusternia. Play it for a maximum of three hours per day, and you'll not get bored. You might also try... exploring and upping your explorer rank, finding a novice to train and make in some senses your apprentice, marry and rp a family, write a book for my damn library, get properly involved in a divine order.

Airees come play Imperian with us!
Lusty isn't boring as long as you don't play it. I log in once in a while to see whats up, forge a little, and do some other things, I am sure I will get bored of Imperian and switch back to Lusty at somepoint, but by then I won't find it so boring. And hopefully a lot of the irritating things that go on there will be changed/fixed/or something.

Tell me when the 15,000,000 forum trolls there are gone, and I might consider moving to Imperian. .
...
Yes, I do know that I don't have to read the forums there, but...seeing that many makes me nervous.

I tested last week, and I only counted 12,234,952 they seem to be on the run.

Msg me with stats you want, and I will get on it. I am still trying to get the ungodly stat star for Airees. Oh and btw, someone buy my hammers and morningstars.... I will sell them for 20 Imperian credits each, which is an insane steal!!!!

Heh I don't read the forums there, I like the people here better, just don't have fun with the same ol raid/defend/raid/defend. And the crappy luck based fighting it takes as a warrior. I am enjoying a warrior style class there with damn a great number of affliction options besides pinleg. Ranged fighting is a lot of fun. So is phase, telepathy, making pacts with demons there, (which takes 4 people to summon and the demons are really cool, they try to get you pissed and mess up the summoning which can get you killed. Pacts as a noctu there are just so much more interesting)
But yeah, the people there are no where near as fun and interesting as the people here. If only Lusternia would incorporate more warrior based classes that actually could damage and have ranged fighting, and a lot more places to bash/explore and make gold. I would never have left, just for now I need a change.

MUDs don't give you things worth doing. They provide a backdrop against which you can invent things worth doing.
If all you want is spoon-fed entertainment, the problem isn't Lusternia, the problem is that you're in the wrong hobby.
