Requiem has my vote of confidence, and Daganev looks fishy. Vote: Daganev
Mirk2007-03-27 14:14:39
Vote Requiem
I think Requiem wasn't lying when he said he was scum.
His saying that he was scum to protect Verithrax was only to make himself appear to be a townie.

I'm going to Vote: Requiem. He was behaving quite oddly during the bandwagon phrase, and hasn't given a good reason for it yet.
Diamondais2007-03-27 17:00:37
I'd like to hear more of Requiem's reasons for doing as he did before anything futher happens to him.
I'm sure you can understand some of our confusion.

Requim is innocent, and I had reasons to believe Verithrax was lying.

why the vote with no reasoning behind it?
I would just like to know Requiems reasoning for putting such a claim out there while we are trying to find the mafia, he may be innocent and was just trying to protect someone he actually believed was a cop or Mirk may be correct and he is scummy but is hoping we will believe that he is innocent because he was trying to defend a cop. Either way I would like to know what made him confident enough to say such a thing, perhaps he knows something we don't?
Iridiel2007-03-28 08:06:43
Daganev is ignoring my FoS so I'll have to vote Daganev to see what he has to say. Just in case I get killed right now I think Rekiem and Daganev are both some kind of mafia or at least a cult (one of those things that people gets inducted each night) and that's why they knew Verithrax was innocent (he wasn't in their cult or in the mafia).
Daganev2007-03-28 21:22:27
I am not sure what you think was ignored.
Requim said he was scummy, so I said we can kill him tommorow.
During the night, I found out he was not scummy, so I said he is innocent.
I am not sure what is so complicated about that.

Bah, I hate the View New Topics thing. I didn't notice until just now that it was daytime again, and I was coming here to complain about how I hated you all for taking so long during the night.
I said I was scum because Verithrax was telling the truth. I wasn't really expecting to be immediately lynched, but I was hoping to get a "WTF" type response where I could offer myself in exchange for not killing Verithrax. Unfortunately, he got killed off before I really had a chance to create a diversion.
If you really want you can check the past couple games (most notably the most recent one). I have no qualms about getting lynched, provided the town still wins. According to the rules, this still means I win the game and while it isn't quite as satisfying as surviving until the end, as long as I did something interesting, then I'm content. So my point is that I felt it worth my while in the event that I did get killed. Assuming my role was revealed it would help clear Verithrax and keep him alive.
So that's why I did it. Now I'm going to go read the thread and decide who I think is really scum.
Oh, and if it makes a difference, I'm not actually mafia or even cult.
@Iridiel: If Daganev and I were in the cult, why would we try to save a cop? Traditionally the cult wins by converting the people alive. We wouldn't need to stop the mafia from killing anyone.

The number before the period is the number of times that person posted, even if it was insubstantial. This is up to the end of page three, but I have class. Someone else want to finish it? If not I'll do it when I'm done.

I would suggest that if someone knows something else they put it out here. We really have no one to vote for. Daganev and Requiem seem fairly air tight to me. There really is no reason to be suspicious of them

@Requiem: That could make sense though there is still some odd niggling curiousity in my mind, and can we really believe you when you say you aren't in the mafia or a cult?
Also there could be reasons for a cult wanting to save a cop, this may be my first game but couldn't a cop working for a cult be a benefit?
Though right now I'm becoming more curious about Daganev he's just giving us simple statements and telling us you are innocent, if there was cult as some people seem to think, it's not unreasonable to wonder if you were converted during the night giving him a reason to want to keep you alive and start telling us you are innocent based off what he has learned during the night.
Iridiel2007-03-31 15:04:55
Forums haven't been working for a while. I still think cult is an option, saving a cop who is part of the cult or can be used to say you two are innocents (Doesn't cult show up as innocent when checked at night?) is a positive thing.
And Daganev changing votes without any more reason than "I know" or "I get a feeling" isn't helping.
