My radar's just lazy, and since nothing fun has happened in about a week I've forgotten about your involvement. So it's really just that I didn't look back far enough to remind myself, and you didn't make a huge impression on me the first time around.
And my radar is the type that picks up the drunken frat boys.

I wish we had drunken frat boys.
Okin2007-04-18 11:49:05
Although I do strongly desire drunken frat boys, it perhaps doesn't require two posts.

UNVOTE: REQUIEM
@Asarnil: maybe you could point out to me what you are trying to claim about Requiem? I re-read your (3) recent posts after all of requiems... toying *shrug* I dunno maybe just a little curious about why you are backing up these two people, I would just like to know your actual reasoning for believing them innocent.

The only thing I am trying to claim about Requiem is that he is pretty much confirmed town in spite of the fact that he was sitting well within ninja lynch distance of the scum (unless there were too many scum on his wagon to do so). I was inferring more things about Daganev though I will let him get into that. The main point behind me raising the issue meant that there would be nobody suddenly jumping on the ill advised Requiem wagon and bringing the day to an end with another townie lost.

Yes, I'm a little confused right now because people keep telling me that the suspicious people are innocent and most importantly... I'M MALE

heh my avatar is actually a drawing of Saran
And I don't really know, requiem has just confused me so utterly. Asarnil seems kinda odd and Diamondais is a little iffy with the doctor thing.
Though I'm not sure how I jump around, when I joined Verithrax seemed like scum with his actions so I voted for him. Then I didn't vote until something seemed odd, and again later when I felt someone was comming off as suspicious. Now I'm just confused so I'm not voting for anyone rather than adding that small bit of danger by leaving my vote on someone.

Just go down the list of people and mark them as scummy or innocent in your opinion. Its not a vote, it is just something that can help us decide and figure things out.

2. Okin - Unsure
3. Diamondais - Doctor thing and Requiems meddling make Dia me curious
4. Asarnil - Curious he's claiming that Requiem is confirmed town but I still don't see a why
5. Daganev - Unsure, did kinda jump on Verithrax right at the end of yesterday but I didn't believe him either...
7. Othero - Unsure
8. Mirk - Unsure
9. Ytraelux - Unsure
10 Requiem dot exe - Meddling, Confusing, Seems to want us to believe him after all of that as I've posted. Could be mafia trying to remove suspision from himself or could just be a townie.
12. Iridiel - Unsure
there the others I just can't remember enough about right now, but those four stick out

Ok, here is the little table I came up with..
2. Okin - 1 (3) -1- = 3
3. Diamondais - 1 (4) -1- = 4
4. Asarnil - 2 (3) -3- = 1
5. Daganev - 2 (4) -3- = 2
6. Saran - 1 (2) -5- = -5
7. Othero - 2 (3) -1- = 8
9. Ytraelux - 2 (3) -1- = 8
10 Requiem - 1 (2) -4- = -4
12. Iridiel - 1 (2) -2- = 0
The first number is the number of people who strongly think that person is scum, the number in ( ) is the number of people who think they might be scum but arn't positive, the number in the - - is the number of people who are certain that they are not scum. (not including the person themselves) The number after the equal sign is thier "total". It is calculated by adding the first number (times 2) plus the second number, minus the third number(times 2). The higher the number the more scummy everyone collectivly thinks they are.
The two highest score are Ytrealux and Other0, I would suggest we pick one of them, based on the collective "hunch" of the group. Ironically, the collectively most trusted people are Saran and Requim.
Now, as to what Asarnil realized early from my posts, and what I think he wants me to be straightforward about is my role.
I am able to investigate people at night and learn of their innocence or not. This is why I thought Verithrax was lying. Now since Requim said he was scum, I felt sort of forced to check on him, and I got the result that he is innocent. I think this is also why Asarnil was so much against mirk, because he seemed to try to keep getting me to come right out and say it.
So the reason I was quick to dismiss Requim's ranting was because I thought Verithrax was lying.. what are the odds that two people would be able to check on people's innocence. I'm likely going to die tonight, but oh well, at least we got everyone feelings which we can use later.

Yet he still had 4 people on him, and he was well within ninja lynch distance. I wouldn't have brought you up like that but I really didn't want the mafia knocking out requiem before anyone noticed, which if they had been faster would have been a distinct possibility. And with the way the games been played so far, chances are whoever lynched him wouldn't have been called on it the next day if they knocked the right people out.
Iridiel2007-04-20 08:09:23
I'd like the same "hunchcount" but giving more value to strongly believing somebody is mafia, and no value to people saying I have no idea, if that's possible. Somehow I think we're going for the most irrelevant people instead of the people who are most dangerous. Specially since none of the two you said have done anything scummy to me.
On the meanwhile unvote Rekiem even if being supported by Daganev&Asarnil doesn't exactly hit me as the less scummy of all. In fact, it could be very well the three of them are mafia.

I checked and right when Rekiem started accusing Diamondais and muddling the waters and making it all confusing the votecount was:
Daganev (3) - Okin, Iridiel, Othero
Requiem (2) - Mirk, Ytraelux
Mirk (2) - Daganev, Asarnil
Diamondais - (1) Requiem
Not voting (2) - Diamondais, Saran
So, Rekiem jumped in and distracted us all on our lead on Daganev. That later on goes and says Rekiem is innocent and has proof of that and comes up with those "votes" to send the interest to somebody else. Am I being paranoid?

He's innocent, I don't like what he did but he definitly seems innocent.
As for thinking I'm scum. There is not much I can do. I'm vanilla towny. I don't have anything to prove I am though.

The breakdown was like this. 2 points if someone thought you were mafia. -2 points if somebody other than yourself thought you were innocent. 0 points for not knowing. 1 point for maybe but not certain. If you can think of a better scoring system, then go ahead and tally up the points.
It isn't like I have any data that nobody else has.
