He didn't do anything useful, he just voted for somebody who wasn't goign to get a majority of votes, without giving any useful reasoning that might push us to vote for her, and 2 hours before a deadline. If he hasn't changed his vote we wouldn't have had Requiem linched and we could have dealt with Saran next day (well, she was dead by morning but we didn't know that). He was just going for a lynch, no matter who got lynched, and in my eyes he knew that Requiem was innocent because he knew who the mafia was and so helped get him ninja-lynched.
Even a "OMG I've seen it on my crystal ball and Saran is guilty" would at least have made us rethink after Requiem stunts.

Think clearly here.
Saran is PROVEN Mafia. If Okin was Mafia, why would he even attack her? My suspicion is that Okin was the serial killer, and so wanted it to be night, (much the same as Verithrax's reasoning for wanting the night to come even though he wasn't mafia). Okin, being the serial killer, and not trusting Saran, killed her.
Go back over and re-read what people said about who they think is mafia, knowing the following.
1. I was correct about Requiem
2. I know you are innocent
3. Saran was proven Mafia
4. Diamondas was not an insane doctor
You liked Saran so much about her logical thinking, start thinking logically.

If he knew Saran was mafia and knew that Saran wasn't going to get lynched because the deadline was going to hit wouldn't it make sense to vote for Saran to diferenciate from her? Like to say afterwards that he isn't mafia because he voted for the godfather in case Saran role was discovered afterwards, like it has happened? The serial killer theory also holds true, though, that's why I am voting Mirk, because I am confused.

1. What are the odds of a Saran being known to be the Godfather today? I think its 1 in 10.
2. If Saran is the godfather that means, that when she is investigated, she comes out as innocent I beleive, which means the only way to find out that Saran was the godfather, would have been for Saran to actually die.
So, therefore, if your theory is correct, then Okin either knew that the serial killer was going to kill Saran, or he is the serial killer, since he obviously didn't trust him, as seen by his "ninja vote." - sepcially since Saran was previously voted "most trusted" which in hindsight makes sense, some Townies would trust him (randomly), and his fellow Mafia would trust him.

I didn't know that. It changes things as indeed figuring out Saran was scum must have been almost impossible. I think I am just complicating things too much.

SARAN IS MALE!
silly me.
silly me.
Unknown2007-04-29 07:38:31
Please don't make me send out prods. Get active.
Unknown2007-04-29 09:01:17
LOOK! A PENNY! (Active enough?)
But I'm still voting for Okin, so I don't really have anything to say.

Sorry for being horribly inactive. I'm back now!
Umm... I was to understand a No Lynch almost -never- helps the town. I saw Saran's vote at the last minute, and my first reaction was "Wow. It's a good thing I logged on this close to the deadline so I could stop this Ninja-No Lynch!" Everyone's calling what I did a ninja-lynch, but if Saran hadn't voted so close to the deadline, there would have been a lynch anyway. I hadn't suspected Saran prior to that vote, and I'm still not convinced he is mafia - but lynches of suspect people (ie. requiem) are good. Evidently, enough people suspected requiem to get him lynched.

Hmm, what?
Read the death scene, it says that Saran was grandfather Mafia
I guess you didn't read the previous page...
*cries over all the people not paying attention*

Out of our four unknowns, I think Okin is possibly the towniest of the lot.
I don't like the way Ytraelux jumped onto Okin at the beginning of today, for some reason I am getting a vibe of scum who was pissed off that their Godfather got killed.
Mirk has been trying to lurk under the radar as much as possible and it was Mirk's vote that allowed Saran to nearly get the no-lynch off, which would have been a good power play if Saran had survived the night since the godfather role traditionally is investigation immune, especially if Othero was in their scum group.

Ooor, I think Okin's scummy.
He suddenly leapt at Saran like that. I think that either he's a cop, and was completely screwing up an attempt at hiding it but still voting for Saran, or it was a tactic to try and ninja-lynch the doctor, in which case he's probably a mafia-investigator, or someone else is and they told him.

Dude... Are you paying attention to what happend or not?
Ninja lynch the doctor? Daimondais wasn't anywhere close to being lynched...
Diamondais declared herself to be the doctor, I'm not sure what conspiracy you are ranting on about....
@asarnil, who are you voting for?
Asarnil2007-04-30 05:58:41
Nobody yet, and I would probably prefer it if you unvoted too - at least until after everyone checks in. I would explain why but I don't want to give the mafia too many details at this stage.
Daganev2007-04-30 06:10:24
hmm, good point.

Aw, crap. With all the deaths going on, my reasoning got really screwy. Sorry Okin. Unvote:Okin
Okin2007-04-30 06:55:26
Yeah, I read the whole thread, but went to uni and then posted a reply late that night. Hence, the incoherentness.
I think Mirk and Othero are the scummiest at the moment, just in terms of lurking.

Prod being sent to Othero.
Okin2007-04-30 09:51:19
Ok, I went back and reread the entire game. Vote: Mirk.
He pushed people to reveal roles, he's been one of the biggest lurkers (excluding me! ) and he's been consistently voted for throughout the game and somehow avoided being lynched.

Hmm, yeah. I don't actually remember Mirk saying anything significant apart from that argument with Asarnil. So... Vote:Mirk
