Oh wouldn't it be grand if Linwe was a mute?
I wouldn't put it pass quid to that to us.

What's with the sudden dogpile on Linwe? Mine was a random vote at the beginning of the game, but I'll Unvote: Linwe.
In particular, I'd very much like an explanation from both of these people:
FOS: Mirk and Daganev until they give a reason for their voting.

Wait, Quidgy, do we all have to put Unvote:Peanut or will just Unvote be fine?
If you put Unvote: Jesus it makes it a lot easier for the votecounter to keep track of who exactly you're unvoting for. Granted, I'm notoriously (or at least gloriously, if not widely known) bad at votecounting, but that's still been my experience.
And Shamarah, people were just piling on a random vote. I started with Mirk because I could make it rhyme, and then switched to Linwe as the opposite dogpile to Viravain's. And personally I just didn't want to kill Viravain right away because I think it'll be more interesting to keep her around (she has a proven level of intelligence, even if she is inexperienced at this game).
I would assume it was a similar thing for everyone else voting for Linwe.
On the other hand, I say that the lack of response from Linwe is rather suspect. I doubt Quidgy would inflict mutism on someone, given his record of being opposed to lurking. I could see possibly a limited ability to speak, but in that case Linwe is just stupid for wasting her chance to say what needs to be said.

EDIT/SECOND POST: (I think the forums don't concatenate anymore)
I'm not saying I think Linwe's stupid, I'm saying I think she isn't, but that there's no reason to suspect she couldn't defend herself. More likely she just hasn't been online recently.
Unvote: Quidgyboo
Vote: Linwe since enough people unvoted to take some of the pressure off.

It's rather late for random votes, those were at the end of page 2.
What is Linwe supposed to respond to, exactly, when she does see the thread? No one's accused her of anything, they've just been piling on votes randomly.

She can say that then, she doesn't need you to be a lawyer for her. Something you should be telling us?

Has anyone actually seen Linwe lately? May be having RL problems to deal with, computer/school/work, whatever.

Sorry that I haven't been as active as it is apparently assumed that I should be. Yes, IRL stuff has been hell lately between my computer randomly deciding it doesn't want to work and trying to figure out what I'm supposed to do about my whole 'I'm still living with my lying ex-boyfriend and he's finding new ways to make me more miserable than I already am' situation. That's made it hard to even spend much time IG.
But no, I'm not mute. And I don't know how to defend myself against votes without accusation. The only accusation I've seen is saying I'm mute which, obviously I am not. Or else all you'd see in my posts are random smilies, I suppose.
No, I'm not stupid requiem. I'm unfamiliar with the game, and IRL things have been a bit distracting. But I'm trying to keep myself as active as possible because it seems a fun game and I'd like to learn more about it than what I can just from reading help files and other people's games.
The only thing that I can see to defend right now is my vote on Daganev and all there is to that is that it really was random. I literally threw dice at the screen, and they came up with your number on the list. Felt kind of icky since you were the first to not vote to lynch me, but I figured it would be safe in that it seemed most likely people would continue to just vote for me, instead of jumping to vote for you. I was just putting a vote out there so I would be in the game and then kept coming back to check to see if there were anything other than random votes to respond to. Guess I found it this time, huh? Heh.

Before she needs a lawyer, you need to make a valid accusation that she can address first. There isn't any logical reason how (or why) she should defend herself against a random bandwagon with no basis even in conjecture.
I am debating wether I want to vote you for this comment or requiem for jumping on said bandwagon just because someone else jumped off of it.

Prods are being sent to the following players: Verithrax, Viravain, Okin.
I also should have mentioned that you must keep it civil (I'm not pointing fingers at anyone so don't defend yourselves against me) and that if you expect to be away from the game for a few (3-4) days please let me know and I won't bother prodding you.

The whole point is to get people talking. Random votes without momentum don't get people talking. People who are already talking, don't need to be talking for other people, unless they are trying to defend them. Only scum would try to make a bandwagon vote seem scummy.... *peer*

I just want to go on record (again) as saying that I think you're not stupid. It's common practice in fields such as game theory or economics to assume a rational person, and base one's theories off of the assumption of rational self-interest. My point was that it would be stupid for you to make the two posts that you did, if you were only allowed to make two posts. And since I was assuming that you weren't stupid, it logically followed that you weren't restricted to two posts. It turned out I was right.
QUOTE(Greatest person of all time)
"Contrariwise," continued Tweedledee, "if it was so, it might be; and if it were so, it would be; but as it isn't, it ain't. That's logic."
All that being said, you're still two votes away from a lynch. Traditionally, even if the votes were random that would merit a role claim. Tell us who you are and what you do. Or you can be vague and just say something like "It would be very bad for the town if you lynch me" which is inevitably the truth, but no one will believe you and you will be lynched anyway.

"I am not a crook." Heh. Uhm... don't know if I want to start role-claiming. If for no other reason that by design of this particular mafia game, I think it will end up more amusing to find out who each person is why they die. It may end up getting me killed, but hey... I'll be coming back and reading to find out everyone else's roles. Uhm, so no role-claim right now. I am who I am and that's all that I am. By my role, I may be a bit delusional, ha... but as far as I know, no cause to lynch me.
And no jumping on the 'I may be delusional' thing and making it into something. I simply state that because of the identity of my role, because it amuses me, and possibly will amuse others later once my role is actually found out.
