Pay up on the cookies.

I said something.

Now. We actually need something to happen because this is just getting plain silly.

I want to see asarnil and shamarah vote, Shamarah's lack of vote keeps making me suspicious.

Also, I think someone should do a new count, since the last one seems to have been edited *peer*
Unknown2007-03-15 18:54:56
Last count by me is correct. I edited it when diamondais corrected me. I also threw in Verithrax's new vote.

as for things happening, Shamarah not voting makes sense. there is obviously trying to protect people and one way to do that is not voting.
Arsanil not voting is wierder to me, there is no reason for a no vote. I would like too see a reason for the lack of vote

General Rules
  1. Votes and unvotes must be in bold, eg. vote: quidgyboo.
  2. You must remember to unvote: jesus, for example, before casting a new vote.
  3. Once a player has a majority of votes they well be lynched. You are, however, able to vote: no lynch.
  4. The game may not be discussed outside the thread unless your role specifies otherwise. Even then you may only discuss during the time specified (Night, Day, both, etc).
  5. Do not edit or delete posts. Make multiple posts if you have more to add.
  6. Do not quote the moderator or my PMs. I'm not a part of the game and will post only to keep the game moving.
  7. Lurking is not a viable tactic. Be active or be replaced.
  8. Deadlines will be made at my discretion. You will have warning of any impending deadline.
  9. Refer to the MafiaWiki for possible rules, roles and variations that I may or may not have possibly not used.
PM me if you need to ask any questions. Opening post to follow.

Ummm....

That applies to the actual game posts and not the Post Counts as Quidgy has edited his post counts before.

Post counts should be Vote Counts.. sad.gif
Daganev2007-03-15 19:02:13
Mods can edit all they want though....
Diamondais2007-03-15 19:04:50
He didn't change anything that really had to do with the conversation of the game. You'll notice right off when something like that is, he's correcting a mistake since Quidgy asked someone to Post Count and he counted wrong.
Daganev2007-03-15 19:09:20
However, it is important to know what the vote was before people saw the vote, and how votes changed. Now I don't really know who verithrax was voting for before he voted for me, without some long search, which is what the point of vote counts are...

I'll give you the Verithrax point, but adding my vote was not a problem at all.
Unknown2007-03-15 20:27:09
should I just change it back and then add a new count?

Uh, probably...

I'd just leave it.

I'm procrastinating on finishing (and starting) my take home midterm I've had for 3 weeks and is due in the class at 7, which takes 40 minutes to get to from where I am now. I'll post one of my long analyses of the thread that no one ever reads later.

I vote when I want to lynch or pressure someone - since I am still undecided on who I think is the most scummy at the moment, I'm not voting. When I do find someone, then I will.
Unknown2007-03-15 21:20:51
But we always want pressure on people. You don't have to commit to lynching them, but pressure is always good. Otherwise nothing happens and the scum wins.

About halfway done.
Unknown2007-03-15 23:39:00
Ok I'm back, feeling somewhat alive and keen to keep this game moving.

1. Thanks Othero for doing the count for me. Editing your vote count was fine.

2. Prods will be sent to the inactive (havn't posted in 4 days or more): Viravain, Shamarah and Okin.

3. The game has become a little more active today but Mafia games on these forums tend to die if they aren't kept moving at a decent pace. So, I will be setting a deadline if the game becomes stagnant again.
Unknown2007-03-15 23:59:37
not Voting protects people because not voting is in it's self suspicious, It pulls away attention from someone else and puts it on you
Okin2007-03-16 00:47:42
I'm here. Still think Daganev is scummy. That's all. biggrin.gif
Unknown2007-03-16 10:12:16
Iridiel will be replacing Viravain (she did nothing wrong, just can't continue playing) as of now.
