I think it's Charisma that effects influence speed, but I'm not quite sure...

It is. It used to be equilibrium, but Mugwumps were ungodly good and Tae'dae sucked.. which was totally backwards, so it was switched to be based on Charisma.

Isn't cure, like, REALLY fast? And doesn't protection proc an awful lot? I'm worried some of these could be rather imbalanced and lame if we start seeing them in normal combat.

But they only last an hour and cost 30% karma to use each, which isn't something I can get back in an hour...

I don't want to continually see the messages over and over. It's pretty annoying.

Last time it was tested, protection didn't last an hour. It was closer to 10 minutes.

Protection doesn't apply a def (and I don't think it's working. I get hit for the same amount.. or is it not intended to be a blanket damage reducer?)

Celerity works, oh yes.

Additioanlly as an idea for healing shrines.. willpower/endurance regen.. double your regen.
