Yes, it does have quite a few bugs and I would still consider it a beta and I would definitely not recommend trying to transfer any scripts over. But I would not claim it to be unusable for heavy scripting as I wrote a complex system from scratch for it and have been successfully using it for several months with crashes being exceedingly rare. It's just a matter of figuring out the quirks and accomodating for them. Takes patience but once you have it figured out, it is very nice.
I had a ton of crashes up until the most recent release, which seems a lot more stable/useable.
But it's starting to look kind of good now.

How many other people are having problems with zMUD running on Vista?
I've got the Vista upgrade coming in the mail soon, so I need to prepare up-front before installing it. Is it worth setting up a separate partition solely for zMUD, or does Vista have a compatibility mode or something where it runs without so many problems?
I plan to just upgrade to Vista and deal with whatever issues come up when they come up, but I don't want to screw myself out of being able to fight anymore until cMUD is fixed up.

Ive got a tip for you - when you "upgrade" vista, do it over a Vista install (NOT XP). What you do is install the vista upgrade without a serial and it will install the "trial" version without checking to see if you have an OS on there at the time. Then you reinstall the Vista upgrade over the top of that (and put in your key this time) to get your vista working. You never ever upgrade from one OS to a different OS. It just causes way too many problems in the long run.

Or make a backup of important documents (your system, school-work, job-related materials, etc) and then zero your hdd. Then install Vista.
