My initial post was saying that I would not participate or support roleplay where randomly trapping people in a locked room with no escape and then making raping emotes at them is in consideration (without pre-planning it in mutual agreement of all parties involved). I fail to understand how that could be a misconception. It's called opinion, something which I am fully entitled to, just as you are. If you feel it was said in anger, you're very free to pick it apart and prove any points I made as wrong.
But, if you don't believe in that and want to force people into that sort of RP, don't be surprised if you get issued for it.

And when in the name of all that is holy did he say he wanted to do that?

He didn't.
And he really could not be arsed to explain what he had actually meant. Hence he suggested that Aison actually try to read the thread, as he felt he was fairly clear throughout.
(The third person suits me)

Side point.
I don't think 'murder' really applies, on a moral scale, to any IRE game. Everything comes back, everyone comes back. So you're in fact taking away the time they took to gain the exp they lose, and adding some of that to yourself. And causing them some pain in the process. IC murder is not comparable to RL murder, it's more similar to RL assault and theft.

I'd agree. Aison is maintaining that an IC rape stirs up associated OOC sentiment. I suggested that an IC murder might very well do the same thing. Where would you stand on rape?
I should state that I'm aware I'm walking a fine line of devil's advocacy here, and I don't want to be identified with my argument (which is not, though it hardly needs saying, pro-RP rape).

We're talking about rape in a thread titled "Children Mobs"?

While Lusternia does protect its players from harassment very ardently (I don't think I've been in any other online game where the admin put so much time into customer satisfaction and approval); it also is a game that is stated as being “Sexually-Oriented†and having “Adult-Level Violence†(taken from the TMC description).
I think Lusternia would be limited if it censored itself and tried to make a morally 'wholesome' kid-geared game. (It’s over 13 for a reason) A lot of violent or explicit descriptions in attacks or rooms or mobs and so forth are quite vivid. I really hope no one here is actually arguing to remove from Lusternia part of what makes it a colorful landscape.
I guess what I'm trying to say is: Am I a pyromaniac? No, but I do enjoy reading a good ignite message(pyrinnes and gorgogs are two of my favorites), or a well-described campfire.

I'm pretty sure this has been discussed before, but to borrow a phrase Aiakon seems to be using a lot lately, I can't be arsed to find it. The gist of the argument against rape is that the morally wrong aspect of rape is purely emotional.
Having sex consensually is often quite enjoyable for the involved parties. Being raped is often not. Although the actions can be similar, or even identical in case where the victim doesn't physically struggle, the emotional environment is distinctly different.
In a situation where your character is out of control and subjected to rape, the emotional environment is very similar to that created in an actual rape. So the considerations for no rape oriented acting is purely that of the players behind the character.
Just to clarify, I did read all of the posts and I understand, Aiakon, that you meant to leave out the OOC upset. My argument is that absent the OOC upset aspect, there is no reason not to rape people.

If people can RP it out, and agree to, I don't see a problem. Just like other people wouldn't want to, or even watch such a scene, and I can respect that.

Bahing's eventually becomes mostly mechanical. After a while you don't see the text any more, you just know you'll press this button here this many times for the mob to die. RP scenes have more impact precisely because they're unique.
