Well...I don't buy OOC credits and I don't bash very well, but I always have gold accumulated from this and that (ranges from ~16,000 to ~60,000, depends how recent the credit sale was ), and I use them for credit sales. However, for levelling up itself, you don't really need two trans skills. Until level 68 or something like that, I didn't have staff - I only had blast, but continually worked myself up with credit sales. Right now, I'm mono-trans but don't feel limited in terms of xp gain or bashing. Those two, which get you stronger and also richer.

Plus - a trans skill without the credit bonus costs $120 OOC. How economically feasible is just giving away $240 to every player?

I see what you are saying, and agree that IRE can't afford to hand that sort of thing out, but you have to be able to keep a fair amount of players who can't pay for credits, like me.

Ha! Good point! Didn't think of that, but it's completely true. It's even urging me to spend the money that I shouldn't be on them, just because of the frustration. Good marketing technique!
