Heck, I'll listen! I tried a couple days ago and it was down, so I got discouraged, but if it's going to go back up, i'll listen!

I will try my best to make sure than by the end of the month with a CDS in place to keep the station up when no DJs are around.

Anyway, since the new life line seems to be acceptable to most, I have taken inspiration from the listeners and we aren't going to close, in fact we are coming back bigger and better.

I have opened a new website, back on the real domain and added some forums for us to use. Take a look at http://www.ire-radio.co.uk

Thanks for your support everyone.

Ok, we have switched Hosts, we now get better quality, more listener slots and more importantly a CDS, this means theoretically IRE Radio should never go down (I imagine for the next few days whilst DJs get used to it, it still might).

More info is available at our website and on our forums at http://www.ire-radio.co.uk

Also note that new host means the stream address has changed, you can get to it from the Listen NOW! link on the new website.

I'll have to remember to give it a try again some time. Probably not until the end of the month when my Internet usage gets reset. I'm reduced 64kb/s at the moment, due to a sibling's massive download spree. That and my phone line's got issues with wet weather. mad.gif

Well, I tried the link, but it doesn't lead to any webpage.

So, what has happened to this project?
Is there still some IRE radio out there?

IRE Radio died some time ago. We got a "CDS", which is basically a robotic DJ which plays whenever the station is unmanned, and eventually nobody kept it up, so down the channel went.
